I have no idea how to properly word what I'm trying to say here...but this is a fantastic film for all kinds of reasons...as someone said below...it's definitely not a film about 'chavs' for chavs. It's really hard and gritty and it exposes the bleakness of some people's lives who weren't born as fortunate as maybe you or me

I live in London and I'm from that background this film was pretty authentic, the only thing that was false was that the amount of Africans living in that area has been underplayed because of poltical correctness. The differnece between Mia and Precious was -most males would fancy Mia. Poor old Precious is twenty stone over weight and I couldn't see her break dancing -not if there was a fault line nearby or we'd have another Haiti on our hands.
