Hi there I hope you can help me I've been looking a song that uses a part from this bass sampler, the one which starts on 0:45, anybody know the name? I remeber in the song had some samplers, I remember one says "Hold up wait a minute....." with a female voice and the other say "Are you fasteeeer!" like screaming, well I hope some of you may help to to find that song, many thanx to all
@ LOVEDOVEBUZZ .... it is the chant from the rumble in the jungle. What they are saying is SWAHILI... Ali, boombuyaye, Ali, boombayaye... not sure what that means but it was some kind of curse against george Foreman.
has to be up there wiv my alltime classic geniside 2.... get on it........its in there...... its in therte..... who da bad man who can draw.......tunesa
trying to remember when dance music stopped being fun, for me i think it was the birth of target records and all of a sudden you had genres within genres and rules and formulas and the death of experimentation
1989 illegal raves , off my face... those were the days, before the police fucked it all up...wankers. a peaceful movement of youth , just wanting to dance. :)
@valleysofneptune I agree, 'cause 88-89 were good years... but one problem nowadays. They don't play this awesome stuff anymore! Just Jonas Brothers...Taylor Swift...David Guetta...all of that bloody stupid shit.
This tune is a warehouse monster, samples al naafiysh too.remeber bouncin about to this back in the daze.
Yes Tuff, i remember Jeff Young (on the big beat show,go on jeff let the record go) I loved the 9 o'clock mix,and the tunes were mostly far more underground than todays Tong selection. Those tunes are classics now,i used to have a long list of tunes to hunt every saturday morning after his show, and i still have them......top times

Takes me back! To those in their teens and early 20s when this came out ... were we lucky or what to be young at this time?
Anyone remember Jeff Young when he had the Pete Tong fridy slot (with the Adamski intro)?
