@redjr1991 the inner white circle around the pitch is for fielding regulation purposes, but ignore that. the outer white circle is the boundary line of the field. in the video above, the ball crossed the boundary line while maintaining contact with the ground, so they get four points. they needn't run if they know that the ball will cross that boundary line, because even if they do run, they will still only get four points because the ball crossed the boundary.

Whenever Sachin plays that punchy straight drive, it's bad news for bowlers. Lee bowls at 150kph but the ball disappears at 250kph. He played his shot and stood still, so are the fielders!!! Master at his prime best.
