  • Whoa!

  • how do you setup 3 monitors??

  • Are the mac & pc environments on separate computers or is there some kind of parallel controller on a single machine running two OS's?

  • @CineGolem

    no windows is being emulated

  • shit

  • man thats wierd having a mac and windows combined as sorta one computer

  • @CSMiller00 It's not a separate OS, it's an emulator.

  • @rawrgrr4298

    Read the description please.

  • what do its called when you have 5 screens

  • Nice, but to turn this into a Command Centre you require a 4th monitor mounted vertically above the centre one, or a 2x2 layout.

  • can we get some details on how u did it

  • Its a Winmac !

  • it would probably be easier if the far left and right monitors were tilted inward a bit.

  • Well you never know. This dude might have a huge head. Heheheh.

  • awesome

  • what did this has to do with a ultimate screen setup for DESIGNERS

  • Because "hardcore" designers find it alot easier to work with multiple screens.

  • but the mac and pc part? use a mac!!!

  • I think hes just wierd :p

  • yea its called a kvm switch...

  • just get parallels instead of having to deal with actual shitty pc's

  • th efusion ware program is good too i have both programs running of different mcs and they are both really nice

  • right click on your desktop depending if you have a graphics card and what type it is they allow you to do different things

  • any one know how to extend the taskbar across two screens.Ive got two screens on one pc with vista.

  • i think they need to be all the same size and pixels or you do horizontal mode

  • wow... how'd ya do it? Ya got a Mac Pro?

  • Learn to read, it says a MAC MINI...

  • Nice to see this. Looks great man.

Still have you tried out the new VMware Fusion (I doubt you'll have need with this).

I just figure for people without the space for the 3 monitors. It would be possible to run 3 virtual windows (with leopards spaces) on one iMac 24". Window applications are more free with VMWare Fusion.

Though that vid does look much better. I love how the mouse can scroll across over to the screen of the mac.

  • no u need 2 macs on of the macs is running window(boot camp) other is running mac osx and the middle screen is a display screen (makes your desktop bigger)

  • new yorker?

  • More like.. Australian..

  • nice-you need 3 macs and 0 pcs

  • yeah and just run bootcamp if u need to!

  • That is one of the better setups

  • nice setup

  • cool

  • get screenrecycler for a real nice setup !

  • Very interesting.

  • yea good for you now they sell macs where u can add windows to it. Look at the application PARALLELS!

  • yeh there is parallels, but parrellels doesnt work like tht does. It's a really cool what he's done.

And for those who say 3 macs 0 pc's, and vice versa, thats silly, i have 2 pc's of my own,and another 3 in the house, and i can't run final cut. If you have one mac in your setup your pretty much setup for anything. You could argue with a Mac and PARALLELS you get the same compatibility, but tbh i'd prefer what this guy has done.

    Nice one.

  • aussie!
