I have the combo and the head. I love these amps. My main amp is a Two Rock Studio Pro 22, but I probably use my Class 5 head 75% of the time for home playing AND gigging.
Very impressive playing and feel. The combination you are using produces a great tone. Nice to hear someone that can PLAY. It just goes to show you that the majority of it is in your fingers. You don't have to have a $3000 amp to sound great. Well done.
Great Video! Thanks for taking the time to make it. You sold me on this amp. I've been shopping for a long time and this video sealed up the deal for me as I use a similar guitar and setup and you and I obviously agree on tone (it should sound like a warm hug). Great playing, great tone, and awesome feel man. I like your pick/finger-picking technique. As we speak I'm nailing down the run you do at 1:08...Love it!
Hey man, you REALLY KICK AZZ!!!!!!!

Great playing man, how would you compare the cleans on the Class 5 to other low powered amps? Fender Champ?

Even with the Verbzilla's horrible buffer this still sounds amazing.
I'm beginning to want this amp more and more.

This amp is sufficient for play with a piano and bass in a little lounge? (sorry ny english)
MrAmbassadeurs 9 months ago
@MrAmbassadeurs I might be, unless the Piano player is really hammering away. Dont expect much headroom though, but the 5 watts is suprising loud.
jpthomps1 8 months ago
great playing!
can you tell me the exact settings of the amp and did you turn the guitar down?
thanks
SingSai22 9 months ago
@SingSai22 Cant remember exactly, most likely Bass on really lows, mids and highs dimed. Half volume. Guitar on full volume.

Is this a rosewood or ebony fretboard? I really enjoyed your playing. I'm modding my Strat the exact same way, just waiting on my '54s to come in!
Iamcmac08 11 months ago
@Iamcmac08 Its rosewood, but very dark. This particular strat was really dark and the bright 54's seem a perfect compliment.

Awesome playing.
That Strat is great, I can't get my eyes off of it.
Very nice sounding amp, how much did it cost?
RedHouseStrat 11 months ago
@RedHouseStrat Thanks! I paid $299 new, normally $399 USD
jpthomps1 11 months ago
Wow this sound really nice.
Can you get such a nice sound without an external cabinet aswell?
jeba189 1 year ago
@jeba189 The stock speaker sounds pretty good (mine is not broken in yet), but through the ext cab and Red Fang it sounds glorius.

I also love my CS54s into my Class 5.
Blues, country, rock, pop. All in there.
davo171 1 year ago
Really sweet playing mate. The Class 5 sounds really nice clean with a bit of reverb!
