i have throwing knives and throwing axes, and personally, i like the axes more, they have a very nice spin to them and are easyier to hit my target with. but iv been using the heavy duty throwing knives and im getting better with them. they are both a fun thing to do when im bored

Cold steel is funny because their True Flight throwers are awesom but beyond that (for throwing purposes) I'll take a Bushman over most any of their dedicated throwers. Honestly, the Bushman throws just like their Sure Balance series does!

at 0:22 you wriggle the knife left and right to help pull it out... now im no expert this is just a tip but if you wriggle it too much and its a poor quality knife it can snap the tip off the knife wich im sure you dont want so... try wriggling it up and down same effect but no risk of blade snapping :)

Even high quality knives with a greater hardness ie. 55+ on the Rockwell scale can break at the tip. Some knives are for finesse others for brutality. The bushman is the latter. lol

@Joseph8188 Great tip! but have you seen the Cold steel demonstrations, I've seen them bend their blades at angles I would never even dare to do. They hold up and retain the straight blade shape every time. Though you are still correct, for the sake of the knife. Up and down does do the trick.

Dude, just a suggestion. Don't wiggle it side to side when you take it out. This can weaken and bend the tip. Much better to wiggle up and down. If that makes sense. Ps, love ya vids.

the knife shouldn't really be removed from the tree the way you did... not a big deal in soft wood.... and not to harp ... but when removing a knife from anything its stuck if you have to loosen the hold ... it should always be torqued in line with the edge meaning the opposite of how a pry bar would be used...
