@QUAIL72 They do need more water than most cactus species. Here in Florida during the rainy season we only water if no rain once every 7 - 10 days. Our Dragons grow in 25 gal containers. You might need to water more or less depending on your container size. We use a 90 day time release 13 -13- 13 fertilizer.
A three gal plant in July (Florida) is about 28 - 32 inches tall planted height and will have multiple branches. You would see it grow quickly in the summer and have a large one like the ones in the video in about 18-24 months with proper training, trellising, nutrition etc.
