  • if you don't mind me asking how much did the scope cost?

  • intervention, kinda :/

  • Hey man I want one !!!

  • I really like the muzzle break... real neat and seems effective.

  • Forgive me if I sound ignorant, but what the hell are the grooves on the bolt for? I see those often and would like to know what they're called and what's their purpose.

  • @supermoosh000 Coast guard, thanks for your service, at least your doing something. Now use the GI Bill and go to school.

  • @supermoosh000 So out of about 959,000 troops deployed during desert storm @ 700,000 were U.S. troops, we are desert storm. We are NATO.

  • @supermoosh000 Jesus Christ, just looked closer and it says your 22 years old, WTF thats even worse. Shit by they time I was 22 I had one deployment to the far east, and two combat deployments to Iraq with 1st battalion 7th marines, and started my first year of college. WTF have you done loser.

  • @supermoosh000 Oh wait super douche, just checked out your profile and by all the video games you've commented on you must be a tween. That explains your ignorance on foreign affairs.

  • @supermoosh000 United Nations, are you kidding me, the UN is a joke and is purely diplomatic. Iran is part of the UN, are they going to help us. So why don't you go study up on foreign affairs before you type retard. I think you meant NATO, and name a conflict that "NATO" has intervened in since the Korean War and had any influence. The U.S. is NATO you dumb shit. UK, Canada and America have great military forces, no doubt, but China is a world power, and they have friends too,

  • @O9caboose

before posting a total idiot comment do some research first.

  • @GunWebsites it does look like a cheytac

  • @O9caboose You are an idiot just because you saw a similar looking gun in MW2 does not mean its even similar you dont even know what caliber its in. You basically grouped a whole type of gun into one category its like saying that all shot guns are the same, YOU SIR ARE AN IDIOT GET OFF ACTUALLY GUN VIDEOS AND GO WATCH SOME FUCKING VIDEO GAME BS AND GET OFF THIS CHANNEL

  • @ncbe4chbum I dont even play MW2 nor do i respect the people that think they know everything about guns because thats all they play. and who the hell are you? look up M200 and you will understand why i thought this was the Intervention. and most shotguns are the same.. made by the same company Remmington usually means that all of their weapons are going to look similar.

  • @O9caboose dipshit, this is the edm arms windrunner in .50bmg

an unknown gun for most retarded gamefreaks like you

cheytac just copied the design of this rifle for there model 200, thats why

  • @O9caboose Fail. The Cheytec M200 Intervention is BASED on the Windrunner M96. Both are two entirely different rifles and utilizes different rounds.

  • @iLiekNerf the m96 was sold as the cheytac m200 but the did a lot of modification to it but not all EDM m96 are cheytacs not close the retard could have had made sense if he said the cheytac m200 is a modified EDM but no he said this is not a windrunner it's the m200 thinking that all windrunners are m200s -_-

  • @iLiekNerf correct me if i'm wrong the i'm not shy to new information or being wrong

  • @O9caboose yeah you can buy .50 cal barrels and 338 barrels for the cheytac m200 in case you didnt know search it up

  • @O9caboose that is the most retard ignorant foolish comment i have ever seen on youtube. my god you look like the biggest dumb ass.....

  • @O9caboose No this is the EDM Arms Windrunner M96 .50BMG rifle. The MW2 gun is the Cheytac .408 M-200 Intervention by EDM Arms. Same people make it, but it is in different calibers and different models. They are similar, but this is not the gun you think it is.

  • @O9caboose .408 CheyTac

  • @O9caboose im pretty sure its .408 cheytacand ur right

  • @dog33100 gunwebsites have years of experience with firearms and how can you be sure by looking at a video. these guys are 100% its a .50 next every rifle in a mcmillan a4 stock is a .308 right?

  • @O9caboose the intervention has a handle in front of the magazine and to make sure you know the intervention uses the .408 round

  • @O9caboose dumbest jerk around!!! try using ur brain sometimes hotshot, lol

  • @O9caboose The CheyTac M200 is a modified EDM Arms XM408. Learn your shit, noob....

  • @O9caboose Thy CheyTac fires the .408 you do some research this is a different gun entirely!

  • @O9caboose you are retarded sir

  • @O9caboose r u stupid windrunner wold the specs to cheytac wich they used for the chey tac m200

  • how much is it a round for 50bmg or do you load your own?

  • Too all the limp wristed here, this thing costs something like seven or eight thousand dollars. If someone has it in for someone else, they could go buy a shotgun and some slugs for 300 odd bucks and do them in. People who want to kill other people don't spend this kind of money on it. Using a .50 BMG weapon to kill someone would be pretty stupid, there aren't a whole lot of people with rifles chambered in that caliber.

  • Someone correct me if I'm wrong but did he say 12,000fps?

  • Dear santa....

  • if you make a video about an awesome rifle, atleast shoot it :(

  • where can you buy one of these

  • I wonder if anyone's daft enough to build a belt-fed bolt-action .50 BMG rifle?

  • I think everyone needs to chill out with the ultra-American, gun toting freedom fighter mentality and pay more attention to the practicality of what people are trying to say. I too am an American and believe in the common good of the country, but the claims of "A well armed militia" are simply impractical. The times we live in aren't cut from Red Dawn where the commies could invade us at any given point. The argument against such weapons is the distinction between self defense and overkill.

  • @7Ashura7

Spoken like a naive, unlearned child who lives in their mind, not the real world

  • @GunWebsites I concur, sooner or later China is going to want all their money they have been loaning us so we can continue all of our social handouts. Shit they've been buying up tons of our land, their military is growing stronger and stronger, along with their economy. Plus they now have the ability to make amphibious assaults. Unfortunately we are headed in the opposite direction, our economy is weak, the military is becoming too politically correct, and everyone wants a handout.

  • @GunWebsites amen, its that kind of attitude the founding fathers were fearful the citizens would have.

  • @7Ashura7 Dude, the communist threat wasn't all that long ago. But don't worry partner, if anywhere were to happen... you would be changing your tune in a hummingbirds heartbeat! Just say'n! Today's preparation determines tomorrow's achievement. Not saying anything will/ever happen, but if it were... where would you be?

  • @7Ashura7 You may wish to re-read the constitution again,as you have obviously mis read it

  • @7Ashura7 BULLSHIT!

A well armed militia is mostly to stop the government from doing what FASCIST governments are doing in the MIDDLE EAST.

HAVE THEN TRY TO SHOOT PROTESTERS HERE AND WE WILL SHOOT BACK. You're nothing but an idiot appeaser, that doesn't know history and facts; there is a reason why the founders of this nation deemed necessary to keep the government in check and this one party tyrannical gov would not be here with them. They're here because of fags such as you!

  • @7Ashura7 You silly bastard. It isn't about commies attacking us or a well armed militia. As a law abiding, pure blooded free American, I should be allowed to own a .50 caliber rifle as I damn well please to use at my own discretion as long as it doesn't harm or disturb other people. The term "overkill" implies I would want to use it against people or living things. I don't. With your argument, we should ban cars with big engines too because they aren't "practical".

  • @7Ashura7 Well, lets use the abortion argument, I am told, if you don't like abortion, don't have one! If you don't like guns, don't buy one.

Is someone going to rob a 7/11 with a 50 cal?! Where I live, most of the Docs I know, have a 50, you know, if they wanted to kill people.... They could do it in their office!

  • @7Ashura7 says the guy looking up gun videos

  • @7Ashura7 is that why every armed country in the world has nukes

  • @7Ashura7

Any US military personnel are sworn in to "protect the Constitution from all enemies, both foreign AND domestic." It is our 2nd Amendment right to bear arms in order to bring down any tyranny that opposes our rights declared by the constitution. For instance, should Senate pass a bill that infringes our Freedom of Speech, we have the right to take up arms to repeal that tyrannical act. Technically, we could amass a militia to repeal the Patriot Act if it infringes our rights.

  • For those idiots that don't understand ENGLISH and are too stupid to see why we must own the best possible weapons: The US Constitution states that the people has the right to form a militia and protect themselves from enemies foreign and domestic.

WHAT GOOD WOULD IT BE TO HAVE A POOR ARMED MILITIA?

Unless you're a oppressive government that is afraid people will turn on them.

That's the reason they want to stop us from being well armed.

When they should supply the arms like SWITZERLAND does

  • @ronaldav6 im am swedish so were not allowed to even own handguns without a special license, and you guys are complaining cause you might not be allowed to own .50 rifles ? do you guys seriously need a well armed militia right now ? dont you guys a like you know, a national guard ?

  • @DannyDaBaddy YES, WE NEED AN ARMED MILITIA NOW MORE THAN EVER!

Too bad most in this country don't understand that. The national guard is just an extension of the military and they use it to fool and bribe the people to participate in their criminal overseas activities.

No one with a brain would join them if not for the money!

In the militia they have to pay for it .

There is a reason why there are so many suicides in the military!

  • @dasmaster1- I am not one who believes anything that the media says like I know that we have a moron in the white house who is not legally our president also militia in the people is what will keep us from ever having a dictatorship and just like at Stalingrad it is the snipers who dominate and harass the enemy lines as such anyone who ever fcuks wit the people deserves the death penalty whether politicians, officials anyone currently we have criminals in the white house who allow illegal aiens

  • The legitimate use for this weapon is called FUN! Tell me it isn't fun know hear something go boom and then watch it shred stuff way far away. Just plain fun :)

  • Why are some guys on here giving the video maker a hard time?

Proving a need for something is irrelevant when u r in a free country. He owns a fifty cal because he wants one and can afford it. He does not need to justify a 'why' to anyone.

  • B.M.G

    Big Mother F**** Gun

  • i want one, no i want two, hell i cant even afford the ammo.....

  • biggest cheytac m500 ive ever seen

  • it is a m200 chayetac intrvetion

  • look like an hand gun with a long barrel, and the nut that hold the barrel,no thanks

  • the bipod should not be that far back in any rifle, unstable weapon is the result

  • @naconte i love the bi-pod there it makes it very nice to shot i want to know if he got the different conversions for it should have a .308 .416 and the .50 BMG that is way the barrel comes off hehe

  • cm'on guys! you tell me that this kind of weapons should be sell in a free way there in the usa? with a simple 15 days waiting? unbelivable for european country..

  • @Arri84

there is NO waiting period .. you want it, you pay, you own.. that fast & easy

You sound scared of private ownership of .50 bmg firearms.. I'd ask you to provide any proof that one has been used illegally anywhere..

  • @GunWebsites Its not that its been used illegal... I just dont sit well with knowing my neighbour from 10 doors next to me can practically shoot me through walls, hot pans, ovens, freezers and my brain.

And not only that, there is no honest reason to own one in the first place. Unless your expecting terrorists to invade your house from 10km away

  • @Dasmaster1

I can see no honest reason for you to use language like that

Sounds like you are promoting some sort of agenda comrade

  • @GunWebsites Its my honest opinion and im entitled to it. Also i do not have any agenda. Its just guns are better kept in the hands of the army at the very least.

If a farmer technically can shoot down a military chopper then its a good sign that something is wrong. Not to mention how easy it would be to overpower the police and military with only a bit of planning.

  • @GunWebsites Looks like he's a Swedish Islamic Incompetent. It's required by their religious law that they MUST lie to anyone that is not in their religious clique. And by their rules that means everyone. As for shooting him. Have you ever seen what a well placed .50 cal does to terrorist home-made body armor.

  • @GunWebsites "agenda"...

  • @Dasmaster1 Ever see a black bear? Ever see a grizley? Ever see a mountian lion? You guys have no predators in germany other than other people....you might think about going armed lest someone think you're not geneticaly "pure" enough to be alive.

  • @Daytonaman675 I am not from Germany. Im from Sweden. We got bears and such here. Also having a high powered sniper is not what you want against them. I have rarely seen a grizzly use kevlar vests so what you want to have is shotguns.

  • @Dasmaster1 I can't condone the use of a shotgun on a bear because you need to be within 100m to get a hit with a slug. Bears happen to be THICK DENSE critters and it takes some muscle to put one down. Now I've bagged a black bear and know how a good lung shot didn't seem to slow him down in the least for a good bit. IF I had been close enough to engage with a shotgun slug (100m) I'd have been lunch.

  • @Daytonaman675 I happen to have a bear skin so im not to unfamiliar with them to be honest. Also i know about guns.

A sniper would just go straight through without making much damage-wise. A shotgun on the other-hand could rip of someone's arm. And since bears are "soft" targets you want to deal as much damage as possible not penetration.

  • @Dasmaster1 Wow... it all depends upon the munition used in a sniper rifle the potential to lose a hand, arm, leg are great especially when it in a .408, .50 fmj let alone if the rounds are frangible(hollow points) or incendiary rounds ....the last thing a bear wants is to be heated up to 5k centigrade like a dummy... if you understand the figure of speech.

  • @wingedlightning (not that i think hollow points or incendiary rounds will fare well against nano carbon fibre) But to go back to the main issue. I do not think this is a suitable hunting weapon. Or has any other uses except possibly just display. And to have a gun which only purpose is for display does not justify having it in my opinion.

Feel free to build a replica with tubes and such if it makes you happy.

  • @Dasmaster1 He he... lol Well since .50 has taken away from the independently un constitutional nation state of California it means that I would buy one for use in those constitutional states until we patriots have regained control of the state of California's gun rights.

The issue is not about hunting it is about the citizens having any and every type of gun or rifle just the same as the police or military, a well armed militia of citizens would not be out matched to save our democracy.

  • @wingedlightning Is that not quite the opposite of what democracy stands for? If you want to do it democratically VOTE, DEMONSTRATE and COLLECT PETITIONS.

A few people holding guns against a larger crowd is just what your country dont need.

  • @Dasmaster1 Since when does the 2nd ammendment have anything to do with hunting?

Hunting is never mentioned in the constitution.

  • @Dasmaster1 det är ingen idé att ens försöka resonera med dessa vapengalna jävla bonnläppar, tro mig.

  • @Dasmaster1 OH what's that you say there are no kevlar vested grizzly bears in Sweeeeden? Here in the bear state of California the grizzlys' wear ceramide seeing as how kevlar is old fashioned and California is up to date with the latest fashions and all.

  • @wingedlightning Its a manner of speech. I could have gone with carbon nano fibres if it makes you happier. Or perhaps a lonsdaleite vest?

In the end does it matter?

  • @Dasmaster1 you must be a bleeding heart friggin liberal who calls the police to protect you....... This is AMERICA!!!!!!!!!! We have the 2nd Ammendment to protect our rights to bear arms.......... IF WE WANT TO OWN A .50 CALIBER WE CAN...........,.. FAGGOT

  • Comment removed

  • @techiwizard Haha, i love you! You are the perfect reason why you should not own a 50 calibre sniper rifle. People like you are just to irresponsible to have even a peashooter. 2nd Amendment does not protect you against crime and neither does a gun if they have a bigger one.

If this concept is to hard for you to get through your head please press the red X in the top right and dont come on to the internet ever again.

  • @Dasmaster1

Well it's too bad you live in Europe where other people decide what you need and don't need. If you lived in America you might be able to try one out and see how much fun it is too shoot long range.

  • @Dasmaster1 So, you're saying if anyone owns a firearm they are going to shoot your kitchen appliances and your brain?

  • @Dasmaster1 Are you part of the Brady bunch? I want to own one so I can shoot long distance with a bullet that bucks wind like no other and has a ballistic coefficient that is close to perfect. It has nothing to do with shooting terrorists or people. Ha I wish there was a firearm out there with 10km effective range when I was in the military!

  • @Arri84 ahahaha are you stupid or wht? ahahah any proof of that?? where did you live?? in the moon?? c'mon! have you ever seen the carnage on the high scool like Columbine? or Virginia Tech? or the guy in Northern Illinois University? many many people was killed by some others with a rifle.. i really think you're stupid if you need any "proof" i wish a rifle like that and ammunition like .50 but in a place like europe it's impossible! im scared of people like you!

  • @Arri84 I'd say you're scared of crazy people that want to see the world burn. I'm not because for the most part I am armed and have trained to a level I feel would see me through a lethal force encounter. I'm more likely to be run over walking accross the street than to be guned down by a madman but I can mitigate one by looking both ways before I cross and the other by being trained and armed. Notice I put trained first.....a gun doesn't make you rambo.

  • @Arri84

    God Bless America!

  • why would someone ask to go deer hunting with a 50 cal?

    thats just plain stupid

if you shoot a deer with a 50 there wont even be enough deer left on the thing to call a prize

  • @NikkoThePinoi

dont ask me why ppl want use 50. cal or an assault rifle for the deer hunt

this ppl arnt serious gun user if u ask me....

  • He just said the 5.56 goes 2000 feet per second and the browning goes 12000, both of those numbers are wrong, very wrong.

  • can you go deer hunting wid this gun lol

  • @defjourney1

Can you drive a semi-truck to the corner store every time you want a drink?

  • @GunWebsites you could.... if and only if you went to the truck stop lol

  • @GunWebsites I'm going to take that as a yes?

  • @GunWebsites depends how thirsty you are ;)

  • that looks like an m200

  • @weerd2normal because cheytac taked the looks of the m96 to build theire rifle

  • most 50s are pretty expensive how much would one of these be

  • @eagerbeaver53 6 grand

the only really affordable .50 bmg i can find is l.a.r. grizzly .50 bmg bolt action

    about 2200

  • 50 cal. barret

  • Comment removed

  • @shotfirer1972 he meant 12000 foot lbs muzzle energy ...12000 its 2800 fps

12000 fps lol ... fucking lazer gun

  • @athiestracist yea, good numbers, i reckon if i up my loads to 300grn and my projectiles down to .177, id be gettin close ot 12,000ft per second, necking .55 down to .177 shouldnt be too hard should it?......

  • @shotfirer1972 make sure you make the .177 projectile out of uranium ...at 12000 fps anything else will liquify and disapate

  • @shotfirer1972 i wouldnt do that.

  • for me it would be 338 caliber muzzle velocity windrunner

  • Comment removed

  • @Forbidenangel0 338 and the 408 are right but the .416barrett is far superior to the 50

  • @Forbidenangel0 the info you have is pretty spot on, tho .50 is not technically employed primarily as a sniper cartridge (it's anti/material) it's just used to snipe sometimes. .408 cheytac is new, but looks impressive. Prior to these popular sniper cartridges used were 30-06, 7.62*54 Russian (mosin nagant, simple but devastating rifle which prob has the most kills), 8MM Mauser, .303. Early early days there was .52 sharps, .60 kentucky and many others of very varied accuracy and range ability

  • @soulecho1 what about the .55 boys? They were the first true anti material rifle, the .50 bmg design was taken directly from the dimensions of the boys case, in fact Ralph Walker of Selmer Alabama, stationed in Formosa Taiwan, converted a Boys to .50 (no .55 ammo left) And regularly made hits at over 1100 mtrs unscoped on the Chinese during the korean war. The .55 slug was rated dangerous for 7000 yards

  • @shotfirer1972 I wouldn't really consider the .55 boys primary purpose as a sniper rifle, but wasn't gunna name all rifles used for that purpose in one paragraph either, ( nor would i be able too!) so just named the most popular ones i could remember. I don't really pay any attention to 'dangerous' range, as only accurate range tells you anything. Even a .22 is dangerous to over a mile.

  • @soulecho1 cool, didnt mean to bombard you, happy tank hunting!

  • There's lots of misinformation presented in the comments here. Cheyenne Tactical (Chey Tac) and EDM were 2 companies that were partners in designing the M200 system. There were some disputes later on between the companies and they went their seperate ways. There was basically shared ownership of certain designs (namely the receiver), etc. The free float tube and front bipod design did not go with EDM, so you don't see it on the windrunners. They're seperate companies that were once partners.

  • I believe you have muzzle velocity and muzzle energy confused.

  • yup you are correct, dang now to decide to go back and fix it, or just make a note...

  • I went with a note, instead of re-doing the audio and re-posting.. thanks for letting me know about the error !!

  • Looks like a CheyTac m200, any idea why?

  • I looked at the Chey Tac.. and they do look a lot alike. I think many of these long range rifles look similar because they all seem to be stripped down to just the parts that make them accurate..

  • The M200 is a EDM Arms Windrunner chambered in .408 Cheytac. If you look on the website they have it listed as the .408 XM series rifle.

  • thanks that explains it then

  • Yeah no problem. I was looking at it wishing I had $7,600.

  • I think this one sold for just $5000 (unless I am remembering wrong) but I would have needed to sell the truck, and more to buy it

  • Yeah well that is still way beyond anything I am willing to spend at this point in my life.

  • The M200 is NOT an EDM windrunner chambered in .408 Cheytac, the M200 is a Cheytac. Windrunners can also be chambered in .408 CT, as well as many other calibers like the .375 CT. They're seperate companies that used to collaborate when they designed the M200 Cheytac system.

  • Saying the M200 is not a M96 because the Windrunner comes in other calibers is like saying the M24 and M40 are not the Remington 700.

  • Obviously you don't know what I'm talking about. Cheytac and EDM are 2 seperate companies. The windrunner is a windrunner, the M200 is a Cheytac, DIFFERENT COMPANIES. The M24 and M40 are both Rem 700's. Different branches, different designations; 1 short action, 1 long, slightly differnet specs. Either way, the windrunner and M200 are different rifles made by different companies. It's like trying to call an AIC action the same as a Badger, look similar, share common traits but not the same.

  • So other than the float tube and bi-pod assembly how are the two any different?

  • There are minor differences in the receivers (mainly shape, flats, etc), but they're basically the same. They both use a barrel nut and are switch barrel, but the cheytac has the hand guard (with the carry handle) and bipod assembly. You may think that this isn't that big of a deal, but it GREATLY effects the balance point of the rifle and follow up shots. The handle allows the rifle to be carried upside down, so if dropped the scope has a shorter distance to fall and hopefully not get damaged.

  • A 26 pound rifle is not something that's all that easy to carry, and the handle can be a benefit if it's not in a drag bag. Before the .408 Cheytac rifles exited, EDM and windrunners were nobody's; the .408 CT put both of them on the map, for antipersonell it puts the .50 BMG to shame. Cheytac was responsible for developing the cartridge, which gain twist techology really made succeed. The ballistic program that is the standard that all others are measured by was also created by Cheytac.

  • Cheytac has custom radar to monitor the bullet the entire flight path. The differences get very moot because there are some individuals that develop free float tubes to fit the windrunner. So then the main difference becomes the barrel maker, gain twist, and several thousands of dollars. The rifles are near identical, but they're still NOT the same, and an M200 is NOT a windrunner, just like a windrunner is not a M200. Either way, now the .375 CT even outperforms the .408 CT at long range.

  • Ya'll are right though from what I've always heard that EDM designed the reciever. I know lots of other parts of the design were together. Either way, the M200 is a Cheytac, that's who contracted EDM for the reciever, and EDM collaborated with them on the rest. The M200 is a system (rifle, ballistics software, etc), the windrunner is a rifle. Anyway, I know the difference between the 2, no sense arguing with people who THINK they know something about firearms.

  • Well I have been trying to look up the development of the rifle/system for a while and no body seems to have any information on it. My research led me to the EDM Arms website.

  • @disturbedone5009 its more the cheytac m200 is an totaly diferend company

but indeed edm arms makes an .408cheytac sniper rifle to

but the only reason the m200 looks like an .408xm from edm arms, is because cheytac taked the looks of the edm m96 for making theire rifle :)

  • @dontmakemeMAD1990

Cheytac and EDM worked together to develop the receiver for the rifle but later split. EDM makes it for their rifles and Cheytac makes a similar version for their rifles.

  • @disturbedone5009 realy ?

    didnt knew that then

were did you found that info ?

  • @dontmakemeMAD1990

One of the designers messaged me on here telling me about it after I commented on a video.

  • @disturbedone5009 well you dont fid that info annywere

    tanks for letting me know

  • I was told that the EDM is a rifle, and CheyTac "borrowed" the design to develop the weapon system for the military, which includes the handheld ballistics computer.

  • It has NOTHING to do with cheytac borrowing anything. They were PARTNERS, EDM is a manufacturer just like Cheytac is a manufacturer. The thing that put EDM and Cheytac on the map was the .408. Cheytac designed the .408 cartridge, the sonar technology that backs the ballistic program was done on Cheytac's range. Cheytac perfected gain twist technology; that also makes the .408 excel. A receiver is just a receiver without the cartridge and techology. They did it together.
