And no this isnt taught in the army's BASIC training(rekruttskolen)this would be in Advanced training.

I agree with dorull83! This is NOT(!) basic training in the norwegian armed forces. I`ve served 1 year in the Army as a conscript, then 2 years in the national guard. Talking to friends serving in both the Navy and the airforce, confirming this is not basic training. This referencis are all conscripts! Without a doubt,these icelandic police officers are at no lesser quality, doing what they do!! :)

That is incorrect I'm afraid.

The norwegian delta is called "Deltagruppen"(The Delta group" and is actually the elite section of norwegian SWAT teams and not norwegian millitary.

The norwegian SF-personel are in a hole other leauge ;)

A stupid comparison. You can use training ammunition (i.e. simunition and different types of blanks) or at least carry an empty magazine to get the same weapon handling like changing magazines or a simple thing as holding your gun the same way both loaded and unloaded (empty magazine). Get it?
