I'm from the UK and drive a bus also and the punishment you suggest dose not fit the crime. If I needed to use my phone then I would have to shut down the bus and stand outside the cab. And the only real time you should be useing your phone is if your radio isn't working or you couldn't get through to control.

What they didn't show in this particular clip was that a.) the bus was carrying handicapped passengers, and b.) the driver took several minutes to get over his own anger before checking on the well-being of his passengers or getting out of his vehicle to check on the driver(s) he'd just hit.

im not trying to defend this guy or nothing but this is done everyday probably 9 out of ten people txt while driving no matter where they are and im almost positive the majority of accidents today are because of it before you become a critic of this dude think about what you do when your driving your car, and texting isnt the only "bad" thing you could be doin while driving!!!
