You can jailbreak an iPod touch 3gen with a 2gen jailbreak.but some things won't work like the vista theme.if you try to put it on ur iPod will reset and you have to start all over

It's not out for the public, but the Dev team do have a jailbreak, but you've got to re-do it every time it boots at this stage. People are asking for it to be released as it is now, in the tethered state.

Yes, the iPhone 3g jailbreak allready came out...ithink...its called yellowsn0w, so now that the dev team allready done with the iphone 3g, they can all start 100% every single dev, now they can all continue to finish the itouch 2g 2.2 jailbreak witch its all, Redsn0w. So im not fully sure if yellowsn0w allready came out since i dont care cause i dont have a 3g =\ . But as we all ithouch fans are really waiting for is....the magical Redsn0w!!!!!

iDioCiTyS FYI, yellowsn0w in the iPhone UNLOCK, not the Jailbreak. And the Dev Team's main priority is the iPhone. They are the iPhone Dev Team, not the iPod Dev Team. So they're not 'done' with it, they're still working on yellowsn0w to improve it. You're lucky they are even thinking about the iPod Touch at all! And yes... Yellowsn0w is out -.- You know you should actually READ their blog before posting about things you have no clue about. Oh, and learn how to spell. It's Touch, not ithouch.
