i just came back from park city and the alpine coaster ways amazing i did it twice and stood in line for like 30 min but its worth it!!!(:

I went on this thing in a full rainstorm once. It was freaking scary because I was going way more faster than normal. The people there warned me to start pulling on the brakes when I got to the bridge, since the rails were now lubricated to the point where the brakes weren't as good. I came off with a bad case of whiplash, but I loved it. :P

When did this coaster open?I was in this area in 1993.We wanted to ride the alpine slide but it was closed a week early ( mid Sept.) for some reason.

Thats actually the alpine coaster. The slide is made of cement. And the tickets cost $20 at Park City Mountain Resort in Park City, Utah.
