Remember first seeing the Vulcan in July 1973 following the F-101 Voodoos Squadron. The Vulcan was the highlight of the whole Air Show. Went to the annual Air Show again in July 1974. Only the Voodoos Squadron was there not the Vulcan. It really was a let down.It missed the 1975 Air Show too but returned in 1976 and 1977 Air Shows. To this day it ranks as my favorite baddest ass Aircraft seeing on flying display along with seeing the Concorde and the B1 Bomber.
I was there to see it! I also met Kev Rumens today, such an amazing person!

What an amazing landing, she has the power of a heavy weight boxer and the grace of a true lady.
