I love how simple, unique but amazing radiohead's videos are. Crap bands like 30 seconds to mars need to learn that true awesomeness comes from simplicity, you don't need to shoot videos at chinese forts or and dress all fancy to be awesome. And you don't always need to spend big bucks.
@katenzcool I disagree... it has nothing to do with saving money or being fancy. It has to do with what they want to do with their artistic vision and imagining of the song. 30 Seconds to Mars' song Kings and Queens has a really cool music video, whether it was cheap or not does not matter. Radiohead's videos are great too, but don't start saying a band's song is better because the music videos cost less to produce.
@nickphillipscomedy I know that, I never said art should always come from simplicity, i'm just telling everyone who don't think art can come from simplicity, its just really nice to see a video like this every once in a while..
The lyrics are strangely optimistic, I just realized that. To me the song sounds like someone going all manic or coming apart but the lyrics are all "Open up and let me in/Let's go down the waterfall/Have ourselves a good time/It's nothing at all".
@vokye The song is supposed to be taken as glaringly sarcastic, almost in a malicious way. It is by no means a friendly song. "I used to think, I used to think there was no future left at all" isn't meant to be an optimistic thing. It means that he's 100% sure that there is no future. Not a positive song at all.
@Burninghay i thought this, but couldnt it also be that hes not necessarily sarcastic, but just choosing to ignore that everything is doomed? "i used to think there was no future left at all" hes just ignoring it. "have ourselves a good time, its nothing at all"

Good for them, because I bought all Radiohead albums I didn't alleready have because of it. I watched them here and it reminded me that I lost track of Radiohead a while ago. Now, I'm up to date and enjoying the high quality CD's instead of lame compressed MP3 files.

@nickphillipscomedy Thats what I'm saying...that expense does not matter, and that art can come from simplicity.

@katenzcool I agree but just because it is simple doesn't make it art or necessarily better than big productions.

EMI = Greater than WMG. Instead of pulling down because of copyright they upload them.
