  • Maybe if you handled her a little more often she might not be as... touchy? as she seemed to be in your vid. If you handled her more often you could probably just reach down and scoop her up.

  • Used to take mines out for some good sunning

  • nice snake,it's got awsome colours, but isn't that cage a bit small?

  • when the snakes are legal my dad still probly wont let me but im like 16 it sucks

  • lets try to stop the ban by safe legal ways. it ticks me of that the guy thinks its a national problem because wher i liv they would die within an hour cuz i live in nov to march wonderland

  • Hey man I just bought a baby female burm because I wanted to get one before the ban goes through and they are really to get. so I usually dont rush into buying reptiles but I guess I kinda did with her. I have her in my rack right now but when she grows out of it, what is an ideal cage size for her? Thanks!

    Tylor / Tm's Reptillians

  • @Thorthedragon3192 some where around 50-90 gall depends on the width of the tank

  • I watch alot of your vids #Ijustsubscribed love the reptiles btw my dad really likes the burmese reminds him of the one's he had

  • She's a lovely girl. Though I would never keep 'large' breeds of snakes, I can still be in awe of them. I think your approach on reptiles is great and what you would like to accomplish.

As for all those that think she's in a tub/tank to big, I'm sorry, but they do prefer "small" sized homes for comfort. I have a nice Brazilian Rainbow in a big-ish sized tank and he rarely uses the space I have, though makes for a great way to add extra hides

  • technically she is a snake, not a pig

  • how many times have you been bitten by your pets? snakes specifically.. thanks :D

  • do you have retics and andacondas that bite you

  • nice video shes a nice burmese python how big is she now and can you do a feeding video of her

  • i used paper towel if my reptile carpet is dirty.

  • I feed my snake in a different enclosure, have you tried that with some of your snakes? so even when he's hungry he doesn't associate my hand as food if i pick him up. it helps train them to know it's you and not food. this really works.

  • Done listen to people bitching about the enclosure or the paper if they knew anything about burms they would know they feel secure in a small enclosure. and probably dont know they piss and shit like a horse thank god its once or twice a month still not fun to clean

  • how long is she

  • lol people are so stupid jeff has what it needs water and bedding the snake dosent give a shit how or what the cage looks like... the snake is fat has good colors and seems happy so i think it has what it wants

  • WHAT DO YOU FEED HER?

  • @bieberluver34 dont look like roosters or big rats... more like new born babies. O_O

  • are you gay? love your vids but, im just wondering i actually support gay marriage.

  • you said easy as pie, well what if you suck at making pie

  • that's a big snake

  • that is awesome

  • Nagini is a retic.

  • Why do people have to be so rude...Someone had to actually post "Are you gay"? Really, if you don't like his videos, DONT WATCH THEM! I'm sure Jeff's sexuality is pretty much HIS BUSINESS! He's talking about snakes! He's sharing his interest, have constructive advice? Offer it up, don't be rude. Jeff, keep up the videos, ignore the rudeness, hiding behind computers make people just moronic!

  • It's Nagini

  • @teacuppigsrawesome Best. Comment. EVER! ♥

  • Wayyyyyyyyy to big let it go in the everglades

  • BIG SNAKE

  • to start off i really like your video and a have a question where did you get the burmese python beacuse i alwase never see any in stock at the pet store and I'v had two ball pythons but i thik im ready to move up to a big snake like the burmese python plz write back and take care.

  • @blaze49545 First of all, you should never get a snake, especially a Burm, from a pet store. You'll always be better off with a breeder because in most cases, the animals are ten times healthier. Second of all, I think ball python to Burmese python is WAY too big a jump. Try getting a boa constrictor first. They're a good beginner "big" snake.

  • in Cambodia, there are many Burmese Pythons there! thanks for the review! i'm thinking of getting one of those starting by a little Burmese Python till up!

  • 2:09 it looks like a little Chuahua's tail wagging!

  • looks like she has to take a dump haha nice shes very beautifulid totally take a normal burmiese python i just dont know where to buy one i only know where to get albino ones:/

  • you are awesome man! gosh that thing is HUGE, i love your reptiles. You should get a new Mali Uromastyx. :D

  • are you gay

  • not to sound like a chick but that burm is beautiful and i would love to buy that snake. :)

  • @SpiderShane1 what makes you think that? i can afford to buy a large cage, they dont cost that much, but they get stressed if they are in too large of a cage and on top of that the just end up coiled up in the corner anyway,

ps did you ever stop and think that maybe these reptiles are gonna be my career? you cant just start out in a professional facility, you gotta start small and work your way there.

  • @jeffevens13 Dude youre right that guy was an ignorant asshole :)

  • @jeffevens13 Jeff you probably shouldn't waste your time responding to trolls like this guy

  • @jeffevens13 point is that snake is much too large for a viv that size. get her a bigger tank.

  • @SpiderShane1 no she doesnt LOL you obviously no NOTHING about snakes... lmao get out of here with that ignorance!!

  • @YanchaBlade Ummmmm, I keep and breed retics and currently own 5. The females are kept in 8x3ft vision cages with flexwatt heat tape, radiant heat panels, and each controlled with Ranco thermostats. Each setup costs about $1,000, and yes it would be tempting to buy a cheap fish aquarium off craiglist with a heat lamp above it for a fraction of the cost, but that's just NOT what you do.

I know plenty more about large contrictors than you or the guy in this video. Don't deny it, it's true...

  • @SpiderShane1 LOL my bad man my comment was supposed to be directed at the guy u were arguing with! i am on your side

  • @YanchaBlade Oh LoL. Then apparently you do know something about snakes :)

I'm glad at least someone on youtube has some sense to them.

I can't believe so many people still fall for the old "snakes get stressed out in large enclosures" bullshit. I guess it's tempting to accept that as fact, because then you can justify buying a way smaller(and cheaper) enclosure than what the snakes actually needs. But man, anyone with common sense and some compassion can see that this cage is way too small.

  • @SpiderShane1 Shut your mouth you retarded shit.

  • how old is she? i have a 3 or 4 foot one about 15 lbs im hoping to see the day of 12 foot 80 lbs! lol i jus wanna kno how long the wait is lol

  • if you do breed Nessy ill buy a baby

  • i like this snake i have a ball python and i dont really no how 2 take care of it i kinda ddo just i need some tips, addvice

  • fuck you my corn snake has a biger cage than that you poor baster

  • where did you get your burmese python

  • Nice. But you shouldn't have an all glass cage for them.

  • i started a site to network reptile owners, you can post pictures and videos. its showmyreptile com if you want to check it out.

  • mines 28ft long know 16 yr old

  • hey i love the look on your burm she is amazing you probably already said but how long is she and how old is she ? think its a shame most people dont want the original look of snakes im not really into hypo and morphs i like the normal look. how big was she in the video cos i know it was almost 2 years ago you put it on

  • dude, you should get a little better bedding than paper towels.

  • @spedmonster why, what is wrong with paper towels?

  • @jeffevens13 nothing wrong with paper towels, its just, shredded aspen bedding works great with pretty much any type of snake, they can burrow in it, it helps them shed, and it holds heat much better.

  • @jeffevens13 great snake though!

  • @jeffevens13

nothing nothing.....just one question...wen did u last time saw a python in the wild sleeping in papertowels?

  • @jeffevens13 and the paper, note i say paper because it sounds like its not even paper towels, is not appropriate bedding for any snake. at least get something a little better

  • @jeffevens13 newspaper is cheaper!

  • @jeffevens13 i guess its less natrual looking, i would reccomend a different substrate but i really only know about 10% of stuff there is to know bout caring for these guys

  • @jeffevens13 they look ugly, NO humidity unless there wet, then you get scalerot. plus i think snake enjoy better things in life

  • @jeffevens13 i use papar towels for my leos, and sure they grow and breed but its still not cool. people keep large reptiles in small cages or bins with very unnatural bedding and thinks that acceptable, but have a problem with puppy mills and such

  • @jeffevens13 it´s unnatural

  • @spedmonster actually paper towels are one of the best substrates to use. Easy to clean up, cheap and non toxic.

  • @spedmonster paper towels cheap as shit.. and most bedding is a choking hazard and a pain in the ass to get out of giant pythons mouths but you know better =P

  • Awesome female!

  • are anacondas ok too im 36 just too let you know

  • sick. just sick.

  • its funny cuz u said u usly dont here when ball pythons hiss..but mine is like omg loud like i could wake up in the middle of the night and here (sumtimes)haha xD

  • Is a 600 gallon tank good for one burm?

  • I'm 11 years old how much longer should I what untill I get a burm I have a female boa that is 7th now and I breed ball pythons so how much longer should I wait till I get a burm?

  • beautiful snake, how old and big is she in this vid? would you expect her to get over 13 feet?

  • what she fed?

  • Get a haircut dude

  • Great looking burm! I have 3 burms and I am getting more. I have two albinos and one norm, and the norm is 14ft, one albino is 10ft and the other albino is prob around 4ft or so.

She is an awsome looking snake man love her!! Love love love!!

  • hair cut?

  • She is awesome. She is far over 11 ft. I guess she is around 20 ft seeing her on the floor like that.

  • How old is this snake?

  • What's the fun of having a snake if you have to be cautious of it all the time when you hold it?

  • She's a beautiful girl, but definitely get her a nice big plastic type enclosure ;) She will be much happier in there ;) And upgrade her to bunnies... I guarantee you that you will notice a HUGE difference and it's much healthier being lean meat :) I lost my burm to previous owner feeding neglect, but still have retics... I love my big guys :)

  • NESSY IS AWSOME XD lol

  • nice burm really like her =D

  • do u think a burmese or a retic would be better as a pet?

  • Hey man beautiful snake! Just curious my friend said these snakes get ALOT of health problems is this true?

  • pants a little tite????fag

  • hey i have snakes myself and am considering a burm, where is the best place to feed them i saw online to feed them in their cage but i always feed my snakes in diff cages so they dont get agressive so where u feed yours?

  • fuck you !!! give her a bigger cage fucking idiot !!!

  • ur a faggot alow urself

  • can you buy one in denmark ?

  • nice video! she looks like shes about to poop lol cuz her tail areas so thick

  • @jeffevans13 where did you get the cage for nessy? My green anaconda would love something like that! Please reply:) btw I love watching your vids i think ima upload some of my several snakes:)

  • Beautiful normal, I have Albino Burmese Pythons and a Green Tree. I had Retics, but, they have attitude like there's no tomorrow !!! Always a bad attitude.

  • its a small cage! is she always in that? shes real cool! thx

  • can u make a care video????

  • she went under the ladder 7 years of bad luck

  • Have you ever thought about breeding Nessy?

  • @ARSA525 yes but there are already sooo many burmese pythons out there that its not even worth breeding her. she is really beautiful for a normal and could no doubt make some nice babies but there are so many crazier burms out there that like i said it wouldnt be worth it. it would just end up being difficult to find homes for all the babies cause no one wants pretty normals every one wants hypos and crazzy morphs. lol

  • Comment removed

  • @jeffevens13 nice reptile room & beautiful brumese python! :D i unfortunetley i cant have any reptiles intell agust & i can only keep them in a basment or grarage is that a okay place for them? & this video gave me a few tips & learnning exspriance but of course i will have to one day have hands on. i just wanted to ask u for a couple of tips & everything i should know becuase u seem like a kool guy 2 learn from. (bow to reptile master)

  • hi there just got a 7ft Burmese python was wondering if it is natural for him to hiss when we move him many thanks Natasha

  • I love her!!! I can't wait to get mine :) Where did you get that cage!!!! I love it!!!

  • how much was her

  • "not because she's aggressive, because she's a pig" lol XD

  • Normal burma are my fav burms. I just love the normals. They look far better than any morph.

  • she has got so big lol.

  • dude i reely want one to add to my small collection :)

  • where did you get that enclosure

  • color of the rainbows jeff colors of the rainbowz hahaz

  • WOW I love snakes and especially Burmese Pythons but.. That is just the CUTEST thing hehehe. I want to see you hug em :P

Can they lick your face like a dog or something?

One other thing is it true that Snakes don't love you and they don't have any emotions? I think it isn't true because most snakes for example King Snakes, Milk Snakes, Corn Snakes, Ball Pythons, and definetly Burmese Pythons, are pretty nice and I think they are loving as well...

But Im not sure that they ahve emotions =]

  • is tht tank custom or how many gallons and were did you get the tank and how long will that tank last her

  • ware did u get the tank

  • Just a little advice if you fed her in an actually feeding tank instead of her living tank she may not be so aggressive when you go to take her out. I have had my Burmese for a year and have fed him in a different tank and he only hisses just a little when I go to get him out. I grew up around snakes my whole life and we have always done things that way and have never had a problem.

  • how big can a burmese python get?

  • @venusflytrap99 they can get 20 feet or bigger but usually stay around 17 feet and females get bigger then males

  • @venusflytrap99 burmese pythons average at 12 feet long, some can even reach 19 feet tho

  • @TheREPTILEKID13 Read up on both of them and keep in mind they do get huge and live up to 25 years and eat big food items which means big shit. I have owned both and they are alot of work. And never ever hand bye yourself once they get 6 foot or bigger my retic was 15 foot and 120 pounds

  • why do you put paper over your snakes.

  • the reason why shes like that is when u feed her in her cage witch leaves the rabbits sent

  • maybe her colors look like that because shes sheding or the light is dim. oh also im thinking about getting a big snake should i get a reticulated or a burmese python?

  • =[ why would you feed her in her primary cage? That's just common sense man..

  • OH LOOK!! A new pair of boots!! Can't wait for the fucking ban to pass. There is no sense at all in owning snakes this size. Completely fucking stupid.

  • dont feed her ornithodons (namely roosers) as they have a huge possibility of salmonella in your snake i know this is an old vid but dont do it do rabbits. dont wanna be pushy though

  • She's absolutely gorgeous. I don't think I'd have the confidence for a very big snake.let alone the room. Love my reverse okeetee corn to bits and saving for bumblebee royal and maybe a clown or super pastel. (live in uk and they sell for around 2-400 gbp about 350-750 usd) so very expensive lol.

  • she's really awesome, I just love snakes but only have a ball python cause I don't have space for a bigger one wish i could afford that kind of snakes, anyway i love my bp that's my baby^^

  • what kind of tank do you have her in

  • @TombstoneAnnieOakly the amount of bias involved in this comment is insane the general idea of an evil animal is so juvenile as for babies being killed in the Everglades if you leave a baby unattended there you're not fit to be a parent

If you have a 17ft gator contact guinness because that is a contender for largest ever especially since it's 3-4 feet above the normal maximum size.

  • Burmese pythons are really not great first large snakes i really think you are better off with Red Tail Boas.

i say this not to be difficult but because in my experience at the breeders where i work the Burmese we have there are either tame as puppies or totally psychotic. And with so much riding on their temperament in later life it's really not that great a beginner large species although any snake goes either way i find boas are generally easier due to size and usual temperament as a species

  • @TombstoneAnnieOakly Are you stil going on you boring prick!! *yawn!!*

  • @TombstoneAnnieOakly ohhh is he!!? shit!! two legged RATS!! :O dude keep away he may have ya :P

  • @TombstoneAnnieOakly six grade graduate !! LMAOOOOO

learn to speak englsih properly oh and learn some grammer :)

  • @TombstoneAnnieOakly

Im white trash ? hahahahahah bless you!!

why dont you go run of into those reeds with rufus and wank off in his mouth ;)

  • end of the python, your seriously sound crazed you sound like your life is driven by serpenticide!! PSYCHO!!! and rednecks?? rofl ....Apaarently people only rednecks keep snakes!! psshhhttt TOOL

  • i can already tell you about ass smart as the shit my dog laid a few minutes ago!! move on wank stain!! XD

  • @TombstoneAnnieOakly Your an idiot. That bill will NEVER pass so stop wasting your fucking time on shit that doesn't even concern you. Stop wasting people's time and commenting that shit on people videos if nobody cares but you. We all know that bill isn't coming, so how about you do everyone a favor and stop posting bullshit on other people's videos. Okay? Thanks. =/

  • @TombstoneAnnieOakly oh stfu do you stalk reptile vids for the same response?

  • Shut the fuck up, if you don't like the fact that people have pets, THEN LEAVE. DON'T WATCH THE VIDEO. No one cares about what you say. You saying you have a hunting license ISNT going to stop people from buying them. Go complain on someone else's video idiot.

  • Jeff, what's her name? :)

  • i named her Nessy, like the sea monster. haha =]

  • Haha, she's so pretty! I'm so jealous. :)

  • @jeffevens13 hey jeff i was wondering what would be a better pet over all a retic or a burm i know how pig they get but plz tell me y one of the snakes is better then the other thanks

  • Dude, your an idiot. =/

  • stfu you dont know what you are talking about, the problem that FL has is because of the retarded owners that let them go in the everglades cuz they didnt know what they were doing in the first place and shouldnt even have an animal if they cant properly take care of it, thats FLs problem not the other states. so just shut ur mouth cuz u sound like a retard when u open it...

  • @TombstoneAnnieOakly Lol I swear your retarded. You think they can come into my house and take them away for no reason? No of course not, and apparently not all Americans hate pythons if they did then this bill would have been passed by now. There are plenty of other non native species here in the US that are waaaaaaaay more of a problem than burmese pythons are. Try doing some homework and some research before making yourself look like a total retard dumb ass.

  • She's beautiful. :) I would love to get an Albino Burmise Python but i don't know how to take care of a snake. :'(

  • @TombstoneAnnieOakly Lmao like that joke empty suit failure Bill neslon has really accomplished anything with that worthless bill. Jeff here has had this snake forever and knows what he is doing so take your biased comments somewhere else because it's obvious you really have NO IDEA what your talking about.

  • @DeathMetal4Ever1

    Thank you!!

  • She is so pretty :)

  • lovely burmese what size tank you got he in ?

  • You really ought to feed her in a separate cage.

  • why?

  • @jeffevens13 Well you do have a pretty good technique of getting it out of the cage but the reason its so jumpy when you come to get it out is because you feed it in the cage. It associates that cage and its surroundings with hunting ground. If you, for example started feeding it in a large blue storage bin, it would associate large blue bins with food and it would easier and safer to get it out of its cage. Just an extra precaution.

  • yes i agree. but i would rather her be jumpy in her cage than in a rubber bin because i use the rubber bin to take her places. so i dont want her to think im gonna feed her every time im going to take her somewhere.

  • @jeffevens13 Wehn True true, would be bad if she was all hungry at a kids birthday party. When I get one (in like a million years from now) Ill probably have a feeding cage that Ill paint a different color from the other one so the recognize color with eating time.

  • you need bigger cage

  • Beautiful but you really should get a bigger cage for her. She's out grown that one.

  • I take it that you live in Southern California, can you let me know exactly where you go for your roosters?

  • its a place called WW Feed, in Hemet. they sell live stock, farming supplies, and like farm animal feed. =]

  • thanks, I think thats a little far for me to drive, so I guess Ill have to find somewhere closer to me when my burm reaches that size.

  • luckily not yet! haha but when she was about 6ft long she got me on the wrist because i was being careless when feeding her and let me tell ya it did not feel good! haha her teeth only punctured my wrist before i grabbed her so i avoided her trying to pull me in her cage. if she would have tried to pull me in her cage that would have ripped me wide open! D= lol

  • thanks! thats cool, just make sure to get it from a baby, youl run into less problems that way. and if at first you make a mistake and get bit you wont need stitches! haha =]

  • burms are sick bro

i just hate dumb ass kids who get em thinking theyre gonna be ball pythons and they dont know the proper requirments

  • get her a bigger cage, Off the ground and feed her some live food.

  • how would that be better?

  • very good I like your pet python make more videos ill subscribe :#

  • i was thinking "Oh my god she is going to burn her nose on that heater." and then realised oh... its just a picture on the box lol
