  • Hey Adam I've gotta huge question

Do you do private lessons on skype? I am living in Ecuador at the moment and there are no real blues players that can teach me here :(

    Keep up the great work

  • @psilopsych: No, I don't. But you should visit my website, Modern Blues Harmonica. I've got a page called "harmonica teachers." It's a list of the best harmonica teachers in America--truly the cream of the crop. Several of the players there (Dennis Gruenling, Chris Michalek, etc.) give Skype lessons.

  • Thanks Adam. Loving the Videos. Learning heaps of little riffs that i hum away even when i dont have a harp on me haha.

ive been a bit hooked on this little number i heard on some video. not sure if it was one of yours tho.

    3 3 -3 4 -4 ...... -5 5 -5 5 -4 4 -4 4 -3 3 -3 -3 3

  • Hi Adam i would love to thank you millions and millions, i follow you with different videos every morning before i practice with my c.d tracks and again at night for 3 to 4 hours daily. I love the car spots where you take me and everyone else to see parts of the other side of the world. i would like to ask you are you able to show me and everyone else how to pop the harp!, sonny terry uses it n i made my own way of doing it but would like to find out the actual right way to perform this please.

  • i play the guitar, and this is wayyy harder than i thought it was gonna be.... but i guess its just like everything else. PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE

  • thank you very much from france

  • great video series, Very fun and interesting how little things mean a lot! I've learned more in a few day than I did in 40 years of messing around

  • can you do a video for how to play lay around the shanty

  • Dude you are so freakin' cool haha xD

"You'll tell people where you learned it, right?"

Thanks a lot. I learned so much from this video!

  • The tag on the herbal tea bag I've just brewed up says "Where there is mastery there is no mystery"

    Made me think of Mr.Gussow

  • sweeeeeeet

  • I love it how you make these vids so personal...great!

    Manhattan is a fantastic place.

  • Great video!

That's what separates you apart from all the other harp players, you share your knowledge and experience and the others don't (ill let everyone know how i got to where i am!) . Because when it all ends up you gotta go back to mother earth (check out Eric Burden and the animals WAR CD and their version of 'Mother Earth' some hot harp their and great lyrics.!

    Keep blowing that harp! :L

  • Great lesson !!!

  • @ 1:50. Who was at the door? Police? Bill collector? Friend? Foe?

  • I'd be proud of it to.

  • Great sounds i live in the uk 52 years old still not to old to learn you have inspired me to go there thank god for the internet

  • Thanks Adam.Yes you should be proud of being a part of Satan and Adam.Great lesson and yes its up to us after all that info. All the best!

  • Adam, good luck on the road. I hope the weather holds out for the streets of N.Y. and Boston. You might want to consider leaving your car at the hotel and take the T into Harvard Square since parking is a nightmare. Hope to see you there and hear you live!

  • I wish i could be in New York that day. Best luck on your travels!

  • Hello Adam! Thanks for the new lesson. One question - do you customise all of your harps? I mean gapping, embossing etc. Was that Hohner MB "C" right out of the box?

  • It was right out of the box. Actually, I did open up the 1,2,3, and 4 draw reeds a little. That's it. Amazing harp. I'm still waiting for the harp that can compare to a garden variety Marine Band--at least when you get a good 'un. I've got a high G that is almost unplayable....

  • Good luck Adam - wish I could be there. Great mini lesson.

  • Its all going on for you Adam, guess we wont be seeing you for a while given your schedule. Have a great time on the road, and thanks for the last couple of lessons.

  • Way cool. When will the book be available for delivery?
