@psilopsych: No, I don't. But you should visit my website, Modern Blues Harmonica. I've got a page called "harmonica teachers." It's a list of the best harmonica teachers in America--truly the cream of the crop. Several of the players there (Dennis Gruenling, Chris Michalek, etc.) give Skype lessons.
Hi Adam i would love to thank you millions and millions, i follow you with different videos every morning before i practice with my c.d tracks and again at night for 3 to 4 hours daily. I love the car spots where you take me and everyone else to see parts of the other side of the world. i would like to ask you are you able to show me and everyone else how to pop the harp!, sonny terry uses it n i made my own way of doing it but would like to find out the actual right way to perform this please.
That's what separates you apart from all the other harp players, you share your knowledge and experience and the others don't (ill let everyone know how i got to where i am!) . Because when it all ends up you gotta go back to mother earth (check out Eric Burden and the animals WAR CD and their version of 'Mother Earth' some hot harp their and great lyrics.!
Adam, good luck on the road. I hope the weather holds out for the streets of N.Y. and Boston. You might want to consider leaving your car at the hotel and take the T into Harvard Square since parking is a nightmare. Hope to see you there and hear you live!
Hello Adam! Thanks for the new lesson. One question - do you customise all of your harps? I mean gapping, embossing etc. Was that Hohner MB "C" right out of the box?
It was right out of the box. Actually, I did open up the 1,2,3, and 4 draw reeds a little. That's it. Amazing harp. I'm still waiting for the harp that can compare to a garden variety Marine Band--at least when you get a good 'un. I've got a high G that is almost unplayable....
Its all going on for you Adam, guess we wont be seeing you for a while given your schedule. Have a great time on the road, and thanks for the last couple of lessons.
Hey Adam I've gotta huge question
Do you do private lessons on skype? I am living in Ecuador at the moment and there are no real blues players that can teach me here :(
Keep up the great work
