hmm, i'd say lower end of mid tier, although his combo's/damage output is comparatively low when compared to ryu/karas/polimar and the like, he's really good at out zoning "keep away" characters like megaman and Saki (the chick in red), and also pretty good against reachers such as teckaman and Kaijin (samurai fellow)

Holy shit they even got Alex's 3rd Strike theme in here (remixed it sounds, no less). Very awesome. I'm really hoping this gets a US release b/c the Wii DESPERATELY needs some good fighters. You can only play Brawl for so long (though admitably I'm still playing it haha). Hope the licensing stuff goes over alright b/c I'll get a Japanese system or mod an American if I got to!

Capcom is working something out to get this game to the U.S. but it's gonna be hard to do because:

1. most of the U.S. has no idea who any of these Tatsunoko characters are

2. The Tatsunoko anime that have been released to the U.S. are licensed by different companies in the U.S. making the process of getting them all in one game Legal Hell

SF4 and TVC are two different styles of fighting. Why would you want them to look exactly the same? Street Fighter IV's graphics are super hi res to match up with PS3/XBOX360 current-gen processors and TVC uses cel-shade graphics, that's why it's on the Wii.

I agree in the sense of wii lacking games(at launch), and thats why i delayed my purchase 2 years, UNTIL a library was built(NMheroes,Trauma center,Fire emblem, among other decent tiles for true gamers, a revamped okami, brawl)and other editor choices, in the last year the gamers titles doubled compared to the past 2 years combined).

There is a lot of bad titles for the wii(being fair MANY bad titles for the other 2 consoles as well), but you still(in the present)have a solid selection of games.

I used to own a Wii and sold it to put towards a PS3 (of which i'm glad I did). I had Zelda, Metroid, Brawl, Rayman Rabbids 1, and Trauma Center...where I enjoyed them, it just didn't do it for me. I prefer Metroid prime 1 or 2, twilight princess on GC (where link remains the left handed swordsman), trauma center is a DS game as far as i'm concerned...Rayman is...ok, i'll give that one props

This should be a multi-platform title for all consoles. The PS3 and the 360 have the online modes (good online modes) whereas Wii's is lacking to say the least.

And I doubt it'll remain exclusive, it is a capcom title :)

Okay I've been reading some comments here, and I got to say: WHAT'S YOUR PROBLEM WITH NINTENDO?!

I guess some of you guys are too young to remember some facts but if you didn't know, some of Capcom's biggest series, like oh say:STREET FIGHTER and MEGAMAN, got their start on a NINTENDO system. In fact Nintendo has done a lot of crap for Capcom. So if you still have a problem with this Game coming out for the Wii, just remember who helped make Capcom what it is today.

The problem with TvC being on the Wii is because it means lack of online play as well as being region locked, thus keeping the game itself as Japanese only. If Capcom were to have this game on the PS3, TvC gets a worldwide audience as the system is region free.

That's not how they do things, dumbass. They make moves and specials based on the characters. There's no way they're just doing a simple model swap because Gambit has already been in a previous game and they'd obviously want to port his moves over. Tekkaman doesn't have the same moves as Gambit.

Instead, they'll use the SAME ENGINE IN TVC TO PRODUCE MVC3.
