I'm surprised that they're still there as they've got rid of the semaphores from Stalybridge, Mossley and Greenfield over the last few years as they've modified the signalling. Even the signal box has gone at Greenfield.
WOW! First location is really interesting with the 'box and semaphores, the "wrong side" view at Copy Pit is inspired! A little lens flare is a small price for tremendous back-lit smoke. Sough summit is a disappointment (not your fault!) - better left on the cutting room floor? Camera work faultless throughout.
Thanks very much Mark, I would have been in trouble at Copy Pit had the sun been stronger but just about got away with it I think. Found my way to Sough thanks to the directions you kindly gave me a while ago. I left the shot in as a record of the day but agree it possibly should have been left out...Austin
Thanks, I am still amazed the wind didn't affect the shot at Copy Pit as it was straight into the microphone. You were a bit unlucky with the wind on your vid. but nice locations. Pity we can't order decent conditions!!
Another quality video as usual Austin, right up my street, love the backdrops especially, steam almost vertical, and the sound was music to my ears, but not the wifes
Excellent video Austin. Loved the location of the first one and the lighting and sound in the second. Unlucky with Sough; I've had them shut off there before. Other times they work passed the bridge; a real lottery spot!
Like all of your work, excellent. The visual quality, choice of locations and camera work are pro quality so I assume you are either a pro or have had pro experience. Whatever cam you are using, I've got to have one!
Great video

Good filming Austin. She looked like she was really working it up to Copy Pit.
Ashton's probably one of the last with the semaphores and signal box which adds a little authenticity to the film. 5*

Thank you, its nice to see there are still some pieces of 'old railway' about such as Ashton.

Yes it is.

I suspect they won't be there for much longer.

Thanks Vic, wind took a bit of sound away yesterday sadly. I'm lucky that my wife is a Crewe built fellow enthusiast!!

Thanks David, I have to admit to pinching the Ashton Moss shot from an earlier PSOV video. They are a constant inspiration for locations.

Excellent video again Austin and thanks for braving the cold yesterday, it wasn't shorts weather for sure!

Another Gem Austin, it's nice to see that there are plenty of passengers on board, and 45407 is performing faultlessly as always...5*...Bob

Thanks Bob, yes, great engine, great crew and back up team. I wish YouTube would hurry up and sort the HD problems out though.

Cheers Matt, yes, that shot was my favourite too. I can't believe I didn't pick up any wind noise as it was blowing straight into the mic.
