  • Also let me drop this tidbit of wisdom in. If plastic was heated to 1500 degrees you wouldn't have plastic. You would have "lava". Along with anything else inside of the plastic.

A 350 degree oven heating element is hot enough to incinerate / disintegrate flesh instantaneously upon contact (I know >_>).

So what do you think 1500 will do?

People don't say it's toxic for no reason. Ziploc bags are meant for storage, not cooking.

  • NOT omelets. >_>

    That's a SCRAMBLE.

It isn't an omelet unless it's folded.

Any french chef would make you feel the "stang of the rang on his panky" for making such an abomination..

  • Don't you people have any knowledge about carcinogens. You are serving poison to your guests and yourselves.

  • NOTE: There is a lot of imaginary wisdom on the Internet. These bags are not toxic unless you heat them above 1500 F (and add clorine). So the comments about toxins are imaginary wisdom.

  • Can u use d bag again

  • Like the idea but the toxic thing kind of fucks it up for me

  • Do any of you realize that this is toxic. Even Ziploc will teal you not to boil their bags. They are only stable up to 175 degrees then they break down. When you boil the temp of the water is at 222 degrees. So, you are now eating a toxic... egg thing.. you cannot even call that an omlet.. It "was" a great idea... but not one that someone should try considering your health is at risk. Look it up for yourself. "omlet in a ziploc bag" Its TOXIC!!

  • Umm buddy water boils at 210° F not 222...

  • Yes thank you for pointing that out... that was an error on my part. Also I usually salt my water to get it to boil more quickly and it does make the water a tad hotter... about 117 to 118. but mudvayne is correct.

  • well, the plastic melted to my pan, but that's okay, just a ziplock, and it cut open with a knife, and the omelet tasted exquisite

  • solid lol ur same lady from vid? that would make me laugh u saying solid LOL nice vid 5/5

  • its looks like there cooking bags

  • Thank you so much! I made one today... it was soo good (I added green onions, ham and cheese) wow! oh and a little bit of milk... omg it was soo good :D

  • Actually, these are very good omelets to make.I have made many.I like mine with cheese, tomatoes, diced ham, green peppers, onions and mushrooms.I'm glad someone else knew to cook them for exactly 13 minutes.I tell this to everyone too.I like the fact that they are more healthy to eat-no grease or harmful oils to cook with. And the best part of all-No pans with cooked, caked on egg mess to wash!!Thanks-Nice video.!

  • cool! im eating one i made right now! RIGHTEOUS :D

  • Solid! I hope it was tasty... thanks for watching.
