Brandon Lee died by his principle (though, his death really should have never happened). Ironically, had Brandon accepted the role as his father in Dragon, he would most likely be alive today. Sadly, and strangely enough, the role of Eric Draven in The Crow, was a more interesting character departure for Brandon, than the "character" of Bruce Lee. Bruce was stressed out to the max in 1973 and was taking unrefined Nepalese hashish to cope with stress. Unfortunately he was ideosyncratic to the drug and it caused his brain to swell. I've read the autopsy report, other medical records and the Hong Kong inquest, so take my word for it.

I actually think there was more to it then just an allergic reaction, at the time of his death Bruce was writing Game of Death, choreographing fight scenes, acting in Enter the Dragon, teaching Jeet Kun Do, running his martial arts schools in the US, and directing the Game of Death footage so it's possible he was probably a physical and mental train wreck, and his high stress level combined with the allergic reaction to the pain killers is what killed him

Brandon Lee died by his principle (though, his death really should have never happened). Ironically, had Brandon accepted the role as his father in Dragon, he would most likely be alive today. Sadly, and strangely enough, the role of Eric Draven in The Crow, was a more interesting character departure for Brandon, than the "character" of Bruce Lee. Brandon Lee's performance in The Crow was incredible. The movie was terrific, yet at what a terrible cost. It's sad to even imagine where he'd be now

Bruce was stressed out to the max in 1973 and was taking unrefined Nepalese hashish to cope with stress. Unfortunately he was ideosyncratic to the drug and it caused his brain to swell. I've read the autopsy report, other medical records and the Hong Kong inquest, so take my word for it.

@yourM0th3r Thing is, it happened to him before. He went to the Mayo clinic (the best there is) with some sort of brain swelling, and they concluded it was a reaction to cannabis leaves. They said he was extra-sensitive because of his low body fat.
Personally I dont think he was killed or anything.. shit happens when you push things as far as Bruce did. But it is still a weird story.

I actually think there was more to it then just an allergic reaction, at the time of his death Bruce was writing Game of Death, choreographing fight scenes, acting in Enter the Dragon, teaching Jeet Kun Do, running his martial arts schools in the US, and directing the Game of Death footage so it's possible he was probably a physical and mental train wreck, and his high stress level combined with the allergic reaction to the pain killers is what killed him

bruce lee dies from being poisoned........he ended up throwing up each time he collapsed......the drug manitol was used to reivive him....manitol is used to flush the body of toxins....enough said....

Oh jesus, listen there wasn't and still isn't a man in the world with more respect for his own body than Bruce Lee. He trained hard everyday and designed his own healthy diets. He loved his family and wouldn't betray them. He died because of an allergic reaction alright? I've seen healthy people die of that in a flash. There will never be someone like him, ever. Long live the Dragon!
