I don't believe the hype Michael is the best player. Michael played in one of the least competitive eras (90s) where his team was the only great team in the league. Meanwhile in the 80s, Michael was shut out literally from any playoff success, failing to win a single game against Bird and the Celts in the playoffs (0-6), while also losing to the Pistons. Meanwhile Bird won a title in his second year and played in a competitve 80s era which sported 3 great teams, celts, sixers and lakers.

here is a couple reasons why jordan ft line dunk is the best and cant be copyed. first jordan and pippen are the only two to dribble the ball all the way up till take off. pippen though before takeoff took 3 long steps. jordan didnt take any steps. all the others they got a full head of steam with increase momentum. if u dribble it takes away momentum and involves more of the leg muscles. jordans jump is more athletically impressive considering he didnt run with the ball. it was a raw jump.

second on all the other including pippen they all stretch out as far as they can. stretching takes away distance. jordan does the complete opposite. on top of dribbling jordans curls up his body which is the complete opposite of stretching. jordan covers more distance with his jump even though they all take off from the same spot. and notice also how easily and gracefully jordan makes it where all the others need a full run and need to stretch completely out

finally when jordan does his he one hand pumps the ball. that move is undoable. nobody else will ever be able to copy jordans free throw line dunk. this dunk is all the evidence u need to show kobe fans that kobe is nowhere near jordans atheticism. note on all of kobes dunks. all of his dunks are dressed up with bells and whistles.he uses alot of spins and arm movements. he doesnt take off farther then 6 feet from the basket. kobe has no hang time what so ever. and all his dunks look gay cause

of his small hands. his small hands make him have to curl the ball up and it just looks bad. yes kobe won the dunk contest but he did so on short dunks with alot of spins and between the legs.
