I'm a console gamer, so be prepared to flame... but how much did it cost to achieve this epicness? Looks great, Hopping that developers can make CryEngine 3 look SIMILAR (if not the same).

Laggy. But nice. Have you ever tried tweaking the Cvar's? I have a Gtx 275 896mb with Q8600 and Windows 7 Pro 64bit and can run all on high settings with 8x AA and get 30-40fps. And even 60fps in buildings.

Yes, of course. Tweaking gives a lot of boost, and i use tweaked cvars normally, but just for this video i cranked settings up, to show it's beauty as much as possible, even it's barely playable. I've even used AA+MSAA antialiasing modes.

radeon hd 5770 is to much powerfull than geforce 9800gt, it has so faster triangle proccesing and to new types of shaders

9800gt will be better. if you overclock it, it would smoke the HD 5770

I installed this mod on my Crysis and it looks great. I noticed that the mod gives you a whole bunch of different .exe files to choose from when you install. Did you get a chance to try them all out? If you did, which one do you find looks best, and if not, which one did you pick to install?

I would recommend "sunny day" without eye blinking, it was called Blink2.exe, but it's mostly dependable from eye to eye...maybe you would like that "purplish afterrnoon" more :)

It's not a performance tweak, it's a kind of ultra-high config, so if you need fps improvement, avoid this mod.

Great mod, and also great vid. But I have 2 questions left (haven't found anything bout it on the web):

1. How do the system requirements change, when installing the real lifesis mod?

2. Can u combine this mod with texture mod? For example Real Lifesis with Ultra High Mod? As I see the Real Lifesis only adds dynamic lightning, but not changing the textures....

Saw your vid, nice music there btw:) Hard to describe only with youtube video, but you should see that day is a lot brighter, distant fog is denser and more white, foliage has brighter, more "transluscent" look.

Also, with this mod, you may dislike dynamic DoF, some guys at crymod did have problems with it- it was waaay overdone.

It results in very nice screenshots, almost every one looks like a still render.

You should definately try it, just for fun:)
