The o-ring melted near the leg on mine. (My fault, let it burn out). I believe it's a standard rubber o-ring. Have you tried silicone? Are there any issues with the silicon ones on the stove? They are 1/8 3/4 ID o-rings right?
Tinny is there a reason for switching to the Foster can rather than the Heineken can other than personal preference? I have easy access to the Heineken 24 oz can but I wont use it if there is some type of problem. I have watched almost all your videos (took almost 2 weeks) and it was fun watching the progression of your stoves. Not to mention you are a real character. (that was a complement no offense meant)
He has tried that, if you watch some of his older videos, you see a lot of wood stove protos! I don't think that he ever ended up selling them though.
Hi Tinny, I believe the 10-minute window is gone now, you may have to become a "director" to lift the limit, I'm not sure but you can go longer if you like! Good work.
By far the best idea you have come out with. Looks like this will be a multi stove... you can upgrade, change from one part to another to make it what you want and tubing choices. Have you thought about using a tubing T for running two stoves at the same time? Great Stove Tinny. You made it so most of us cannot copy your work and have taken the alcohol stove to a new level.
Good job tinny, i love the new stove, Is there any way that we can pre-order these because they are sold out? I am a big fan of this little stove, i really like how all of the parts are completely replaceable!! I know you mentioned this in another video, but do you plan on hiring out a machine shop to crank these babies out. there are quite a few places that could make them so much faster with almost 100% automation, its not even funnny. Anyway Bravo Tinny on a job well done!!!!!!!
I don't think there is a big enough market to support automated production and I am quite happy turning them out one at a time in my little shop. Don't be fooled there is a lot of steps to building one of them
Do you think you will be selling this stove with a wider angle on the legs or hardware cloth potstand to accomodate larger pots like the snowpeak trek 900?

The fosters has straight sides so you can store your pot stand over it

Thanks I thought that was the case but wanted to check.

Heini pot is a generic name for all beer can pots. These are actually fosters pots

Why change in designs Tinny also thought you were getting away from Hinnie pots.

Tinny you should start making some wood gas stoves. They don't require you to bring fuel with you and are very efficient.

put a nipple on the fuel can, so it will accept both tube sizes.
