Most teams do not do the kind of scouting the Pats do. They don't use NFL scouts, they use their own. It's why guys like Mayock and Kiper are always saying that they're 'reaching', according to their lists. The Pats do it their own way. Sometimes they hit, sometimes they miss. But overall, they're very, very good at it.
