@TDesaster Das ist nicht NDW, auch wenn Trio damit immer in Verbindung gebracht wurde und sie zu dieser Zeit erfolgreich waren. Genau genommen entspringen sie dem Punk.

Sie werden zurecht heute von vielen Kennern noch als innovativste deutsche Band gesehen. Die White Stripes werden für ihren Minimalismus in den Himmel gelobt - Trio hat Vergleichbares schon vor 30 Jahren gemacht.

ohne "da da da" würden sich heute nicht so viele an diese Spitzenband erinnern, bzw. sie kennenlernen wollen. Also ich fand es geil, wie Stefan Remmler mit seinem kleinen Casio-Kinderkeyboard die Melodie spielte, obwohl ich den Song auch nicht zu meinen Trio-Favoriten zählen würde.

ich konnte mich kaum dran erinnern, wie das Solo war damals, aber ich habe es wegen seiner Verzerrung geliebt, und HIER ist es nun.

Das war das fetteste damals, Trio live in Hanna`s Plattenkiste und es hat tierisch gerockt und ich hab kapiert, das nur wenige Instrumente nötig sind für einen guten Song.

you're right. The only drummer that I know who strictly plays his instrument standing, a guitarist with only one pick-up on his instrument, no bass no synths. And the lyrics are great. It's art.

probably your german teacher does know something about languages, but he obviously has no idea about music. in fact they made some satiric song in relation to what we call the "neue deutsche welle", but i think it is remarkable what just three persons can do on stage.

your german teacher missed the 'neue deutsche welle' completly. It was not about fun alone...it was about finding a new german identity. There was a whole new Generation of Germans who where borne way past the end of the war...neue deutsche welle was more a description of the feeling of the past war generation in western germany than fun allone. It had to be some how funny to be percieved at all.

infact the statement of your teacher is wrong by fact. they were a "real" band. starting with "classic" lineup but

ending up as a trio also because of financial reasons. but this reduced lineup fitted the music best anyway...
