  • I wish we had the Death Penalty in England.

    RAPISTS: KILL THEM

    PEDOPHILES: KILL THEM

    CHILD KILLERS: KILL THEM

It's not about Human Rights! It's Common Sense!

  • look if some body killed your mom, and your saw a tape made by murderer, would you accept him going jail for a long time knowing his going to be back out or have death penalty given?....i would kill that S.O.B.

  • Yeah Yeah Yeah.. but you didnt even utter a word when the poor Troy Davis was killed. Amnesty Int, ACLU and a million organizations asked you to step in. Mister President, why have your thoughts not remained consistent

  • I believe in the right to defend yourself in the most dire of situations. The death penalty should be imposed to avenge those who were unable to defend themselves.

  • Shameful. He knows its savage, anything to win votes.

  • America is light years ahead of the UK. I hate living here. This country treat muderers and rapists better than eldery people who can't afford to pay the gas bill and freeze to death in the winter!

  • @1Thompsonmusic

I agree with you my brother across the sea, and unfortunately the U.S. is being challenged by these damn liberals. If you kill or maybe even rape somebody purposely, and there is evident evidence that one has committed the crime, than one must pay the ultimate justice.

  • Ron Paul 2012

  • you remember that gun n' roses album? Lies, lies, lies.

  • @TheInfamousCanadian I am against the war on drugs and that is why I will vote Ron Paul 2012. Besides, other than the execution of Troy Davis, not many people keep maintaining their innoccence. And if I was in prison for murder, I would much prefer getting executed than rot in a cell for the rest of my life with no chance of parole

  • His opening words disgust me and the rest of his words are meaningless: "The death penalty is appropriate in certain circumstances" Who has the right to live and who doesnt??, And more so who has the right to decide this? USA get your country strait and then call yourself a "world leader".

  • @xbox360guywithnoobs

NO ONE who murders someone has the right to ANYTHING!!!

  • @1Thompsonmusic So self defense = get death penalty?

  • @DataWaveTaGo

Er noooooo? Murder with malicious intent = get death penalty. Are we learning yet kiddie?

  • CIA most influential terrorist group in the world. Bring it on Obama stand by your word

  • get to the point!

  • blah blah

  • death penalty to u..how abt that?

  • OMG he just said that "Terrorism" should be punishable with the death penalty. DOES ANYONE realize that THIS + the patriot act gives the American government to kill any person it chooses!!!! Oo

    What tiranniy!!

  • This guy is progressive and more European than other Candidates??? They have legalized drugs and banned death sentence!!! Everything Ron Paul talks about!!!!

  • I think all Christians should be against the death penalty. As I recall one of their favorite people was wrongly accused and put to death......

  • @MissLucyBoomer

as a christian i very much agree. If you did not form life you should not have the right to take it away. Christian or not, that is just logic.

  • What the government has not given you, it cannot take away from you. Death penalty has proven to be a total failure in the U.S, as it has been totally arbitrary in too many cases. Death penalty would be an acceptable if it didn't depend on such corrupt institutions.

  • fuck a federal death penalty, Ron Paul 2012

  • Why all the dislikes? This is one of the best and most down to earth discourses on the death penalty I've ever heard, and I agree with him.

  • people in prison still kill while in prison whether it be guards or other inmates. a bullet is cheaper and more effective than putting them in a cell wasting tax money

  • @copenhagenlongcut52 agreed. As I posted in an earlier comment with an annual cost of 45000 per inmate, it would cost about 2.5 million to keep an inmate in a cell for 55 years. Example was convicted at 25, died at 80 from life imprisonment. Why not shoot a bullet through his head which would cost less than a dollar per bullet. They should use that technique instead of lethal injection which costs too much and can lead to the accused of suffering.

  • @AlohaBiatch There is always the risk of violent criminals killing in prison and even escaping from prison, when criminals are on the run from law enforcement they will stop at nothing to ensure they're freedom, even if they have to take the life of innocent people.

  • The death penalty is necessary. However we need to change it to be appropriately humane for the scum it is designated for. Public beheadings should be the primary method of the 21st century. Unlike America, Europe is full of liberal pussies who think criminals deserve to live no matter how horrible the crime... It's a wonder that the muslims haven't taken over Europe yet.

  • @JVDnh3 how many innocent lives killed by the state is an acceptable number for continuing the death penalty? how much do the lives of the wrongfully executed weigh on the scales?

liberal pussies? well that just shows how much you've learned in school. but i guess it's not fair to blame you since u.s. education ranks below the average of the western world.

performance equal to a muslim third world country. oh the irony...

  • If a person accused of multiple murders with super deviant motives is convicted upon overwhelming physical evidence with a 100% corroborating confession then can that person be executed for great justice? vs. a person convicted with said physical evidence attributes lacking but none the less jury convicted, perhaps it's appropriate to spare that persons life simply to avoid killing innocent persons. Perhaps that's a component of Obama's take on a judicial overhaul he was mentioning. Could be....

  • Capital punishment proves far more effective then letting someone sit in prison for life, it simply eliminates them from society so they can't kill again. only the most violent of criminals should be put to death.

  • Obama should get the death penlalty then for that innocent 16 year old he killed in the drone strike. You heard him "harming children"

  • Comment removed

  • @TheInfamousCanadian This is the most stupid comment ive ever read. Is he the one who controlled the drone huh? Its some guy in Texas in a military base, not Obama. From your comment we should also put to death all the guys in the military who involuntarily killed a civilian

  • @AlohaBiatch If you like the death penalty, fine just be consistant. Obama aproved this drone stike, knowing it was at a BBQ and there was going to be other people there. The guy him self didnt do anything, it was an execution with no evedence or even suspision that he did anything wrong. He did propaganda for alqueda, Which means that we was executed because of his beleifs. it was ILLEGAL for obama to aprove this drone strike. What was wrong with sending in a small team to go get this guy?

  • @AlohaBiatch As for your saying about money to keep murderers in jail, Your stupid war on drugs causes way more money then that and way more people are in jail for drugs then murder. You should be more mad at that. And you know how many convicted murderers and rapists are let out of prison after deckades because DNA evedence proves it was not them? How many innocent are executed? we will never know

  • @TheInfamousCanadian

With every innocent person executed their is probably 50 that really deserved it. I am for legalization of marijuana because that will save millions of dollars and its not even bad for you, but I am also for treating murderers how they should be and also saving millions dollars.

  • Letting a criminal rotting in a cell is far worse than executing them.

  • @PaulieKeenan Perhaps you have never done time before. I'd rather go to death-row. I would live longer.

  • Here's a couple fingers up for ya Barry, ahh an they ain't thumbs... t(-.-)t

  • @fasfsdfasd ...and ppl who may not have committed the crime

  • You know a worse crime than any mentioned? State supported murder. Please come and join the civilized world America, a single innocent killed by the state is one too many.

  • @nanopope can i just ask, then what do you do with these people? Put them in prison, where they get all the food, shelter and warmth they need, where they live in greater comfort than many civillians, which takes away huge amounts of money from where it really matters. IMO it would be easier to just kill them

  • Ron Paul has you beat on this issue.

Make death penalty a state issue, no more federal death penalty.

My state has no death penalty, and I agree with this stance, I hope more states abolish the death penalty, but that's up to their citizens.

  • Death Penalty = 3rd World Countries

    you can't mess with facts

  • @Intheend4226

    Is Japan third world? Nope.

  • @Intheend4226 yes i think that too, im from europe but death penalty is 3rd world

  • @Intheend4226 wrong.. Research on Deal Penalty in Latin America and learn.

  • @Intheend4226 We should have even stricter laws like the Sharia law in Iran. Thiefs get their fingers cut off, then their hand. In most countries were Sharia law is implemented, crime rates are extremely low. Besides why should we as taxpayers have to pay about 45000 a year for an inmate for the rest of his life. Lets see if someone commit a crime at age 25 and sentenced to life in prison and died at age 80 that would cost (55yrs) 55*45000=2,475,000. It would cost about 2 and a half million.

  • @Intheend4226 who cares if its third world..as u can see...we our the most successful country on earth..even in spite of the last couple of years...you know why? because our moral system for the most part is right...eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth..capital punishment should be in every state and rightfully so.

  • look at Japan and Singapore. Very clean, very rich, very peaceful, very little crime.

and compare that to Mexico, Jamaica and most of Latin America. No death penalty and murders, rapes, drug cartels, kidnaping and all the criminals out of control!

  • @KripDrip Before Breivik massacre Norway had the lowest murder rate. The highest sentence was 21 years in Norway.

  • @Intheend4226

Not having the death penalty= waste of money and giving murders a slap on the wrist.

Not to mention a punch in the face to victims family and friends of that murderer.

  • Barack Hussein Obama deserves to be put to death.

  • @sXeCanadianBoy Why?

  • When you think about the death penalty, don't forget that it's your tax dollars that are going to clothe, shelter, and feed convicted murderers and rapists.

  • @lastdayinsin3 it's more expensive to kill them.

  • Join the civilized world USA

  • @Marzeyyke How is it civilized to let criminal scum continue to live hippy? Criminals deserve to die as they do nothing with their lives but bring ruin to others.

  • @Marzeyyke

Not all states have the death penalty. Its outlawed in my state.

  • @Marzeyyke

Yeah lets join the civilized world and treat cold blooded murderers with our tax paying dollars, three hot meals, electricity, clothes, a bed and friends to make. Oh and lets not forget the television and exercise equipment.

  • @ajbren92 you know, he can't go out of the jail.

  • barack obama deserve the death penelty

  • @TruthComments Grammar and punctuation. Rinse after me: Grammar and punctuation.

  • yah know alota people kan sayy the death penalty is so called appropiate in some circumstances and that abortion is the choice of the mother and what she is going through but if you were their situation lyke what the fuck would you do?? Honestly tell me would you be saying the same crap trying to sugar coat s**t i highly doubt that u would whatever it takes to get a second sayy so. No matter how u put it there's always consequences..and the man up stairs gets the final say so.

  • Death to the Death Penalty.

  • @fasfsdfasd Both the death penalty and abortion are wrong...

  • @fasfsdfasd I'm ashamed you're not ashamed of killing someone at all. Both are wrong and you should be ashamed of that.

  • Fuck obama

  • the death penalty is fukin gay

  • Death penalty should not be abolished! Certain crimes like terrorism, hate crimes, etc. Deserve death penalty. How ever the use of death penalty should be given ONLY in extreme cases!

  • Nobody cares what Obama thinks.

    RICK PERRY 2012

  • @sXeCanadianBoy ill give you three reasons why perry as president would be bad

    1) george bush sr

    2) george bush jr

    3) uh what was three again?

  • @mermaidsareppl222 Right. So all you have on Rick Perry was that he forgot one of the names of one of the departments he will shut down to cut spending? Right.

    RICK PERRY 2012

  • @sXeCanadianBoy if he cant remember something as simple as that how can i trust him to remember the key things as president?

texas governor becoming president, yeah that hasnt failed us before at all

  • What "moral" can do to you....

  • cjgchcvhghggcgchcghcghchhgcghcghhvgvghvvcgcvgvgcvgh

  • I'm really bent over backwards about death penalty.

I think if you kill someone, you should be killed.

Yet at some points i think, how do you show murder is wrong by murdering the murderer? Where does the government come off on being able to kill their own citizens?

I don't know yet. I'm not a religious man, so the only thing that factors into my opinion is my morals. And i just can't find the answer to this one...

  • @codmod55 you are maybe looking at it wrong. It's not really about punishing the person but about removing them from existence because they are beyond repair and have done outrageously horrible things to people. So yes if someone was violent you don't act violent toward them as punishment, and if someone killed someone you don't threaten to kill them for it because then you are doing exactly what they did. The death penalty just gets rid of these people forever.

  • @JoelTGM I know but i'm talking about the example. How does murdering a murderer show that murder is wrong?

  • @codmod55 I guess none of the punishments show why the crime was wrong. I don't really know if the death penalty is right or wrong, but I don't feel too bad when an awful person is sentenced to death, so it sits alright with me I guess.

  • @JoelTGM me too!

  • Fuck the death penalty

  • Move to canada

  • Long live the death penalty,

People that cant spell penalty shouldn't be able to decide on the subject.

    (edwardd6681) <------example

  • @fasfsdfasd Lol except for everyone looking at your Youtube channel. Good day.

  • @fasfsdfasd Who knows?

  • @fasfsdfasd Your Youtube channel says that you're 38... odd.

  • @fasfsdfasd Again, fire was nowhere to be seen, adult with no life. :)

  • @fasfsdfasd In your own, uninformed, ignorant, mind, yes you won. In truth, I hold the victory. Thanks for trying, friend. (:

  • @fasfsdfasd If you really had anything to say, then you wouldn't be quitting right now. You just have nothing to say to refute my last reply. Sucks to be left speechless, doesn't it? ;)

  • @fasfsdfasd So, does that mean you agree?

  • he says the death penalty is appropriate for harming children yet he is pro abortion? thats fairly htpocritical

  • @fasfsdfasd Simmer down? I have shown absolutely no signs of rage here, I'm simply stating my position and defending it. In truth, you can't allow abortion for one specific case and not for another without getting into legal messes and protests from the girls that aren't allowed it. You have to allow it for all cases.

  • @fasfsdfasd If you could provide me with a legitimate, neutral source (not just pro-life sites) I would greatly appreciate it. And you can't ban 95% of abortions without getting into huge legal issues. If you allowed abortion for girls that got raped but not for girls that didn't, many girls would lie and say that they got raped. You have to allow it for all cases.

  • @fasfsdfasd Please provide proof for that statement. Even if that is the truth, what about those poor girls in that 5%? Or is that not a "significant enough amount" for you?

  • @fasfsdfasd Hmm, I never said "it"? Moving on...? If you were dead before you were even born, you'd never even know what life is, correct? You would be nothing before you were something, therefore, you would lose nothing. And do NOT assume that all women considering abortion are sluts; many are girls that were raped.

  • @fasfsdfasd Yeah, that's what they said back in the 20s with Prohibition (didn't work as they had planned). What if the mother isn't ready for the child? What if the child has an absolutely terrible life once born? Sometimes (and I know this is very hard for your stubborn little mind to think about), the mother is actually thinking about the child. If it's a teen mom who has no money, no maturity, and just isn't ready to be a mother, it's not fair to the child. At all.

  • some times it's too expensive or hard to give birth but capital punishment is totally against the Constitution. In hick states, like Alabama, (yeah this is 2011) they STILL use the electric chair.

  • @fasfsdfasd No they actually don't, because I am pro-choice, yet not pro-abortion. I would never get an abortion, nor would I ever suggest it to someone struggling with the decision of whether to keep a baby or not. I am, however, pro-choice because I believe that women have the right to decide what to do with their bodies; the government should not have the right over their body. Also, making abortion illegal will not stop it by any means - it will then only be done in dirty and unsafe places.

  • He's not as pro-death penalty as I am but he sees that it can be appropriate. I can live with that.

  • @fasfsdfasd There really is no such thing as "pro-abortion," there is pro-choice.

  • I LOVE how we condemn people for murder, yet we follow "an eye for an eye" in many cases. This is incredibly backwards and hypocritical, and I won't even delve into the inhumanity of it. (And this is coming from someone who isn't very religious at all, just ethical.)

  • fuck the death penelty

  • @edwardd6681 Unfortunately, there are still people like Obama, in the very highest positions, who support the death penalty.

  • @edwardd6681 fuck you

  • obama likes the word "uh"

  • Kill some one and become the murderer that you kill, talk sense murder is murder even in war you call murder of innocents Collateral Damage. Bollocks its murder, and well you known it,violence appears to do good, the good is only temporary; the evil it does is permanent.

  • the death penalty dosnt work period.....theres no need to debate about it.

look at america the murder and rape hasnt stopped.

when a person kills another person thats murder when the state or kingdom execute

the killer that isnt justice...thats revenge.

how many inocent people todate have executed.

how many people to date who have served a long prison sentence and the had their

    sentence overturned and released.

the united kingdom dosnt want it,has no need for it, period

  • i wish the death penalty was in the uk think murderers, paedo's and rapists would think twice about committing crime i hope the us stays strong and keeps it

  • Obama is second only to Dr. Ron Paul.

  • Why do they ask a State-empowered question in a presidential debate? The president has no power in that.

  • I'm sorry Obama. You're intelligent and likeable, but you are a FUCK UP. You are NO DIFFERENT from than the neo-cons on your foreign policy, your unrepenting support for Israel, your inability to hold wall street and corporations accountable. Ron Paul is the ONLY solution for 2012!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • eye for an eye makes the whole world go blind. why wouldn't that apply to more serious cases?

we support and feed hatred, vengeance, and teach that these things are ok. I don't want my child raised in a place where vengeance is the solution.

and if the main reason you support it is because of money... your an asshole. straight up.

  • @dudethatisawesome1 vengeance and justice are two different things

  • Is this the same guy that killed an American citizen without a trial?

  • Herman Cain and the 999 plan. Get on board!

  • @Andreas748

As sweet as it sounds, its not as cracked up to be. for half americans it would mean that they start paying more taxes than they do today. First, the implementation of sales tax and the pay roll tax. Not only that, it contributes for 300billion $ extra to the deficit. Now, i dont have anything against a sales tax, but only as long as it would mean either increasing services/coverage or reducing taxes for low income earners. Its not as terrible as Santorums plan, but it aint great.

  • dame

  • Oh my god, now he is really disappointing me...

  • Poor guy, is a president looking for a re-election able to say really what he things about an unfair and unfairly applied punishment?

  • @fonzi959

This video is from well before he became President.

It would be interesting to see what he says now.

  • Obama.... The end of an error.

    Ron Paul for 2012.

  • @DramaBlock damn straight

  • @DramaBlock doesn't look like it.

  • @DramaBlock And what exactly is Ron Paul going to do when he gets there? Die of old age before his first term is over? Better hope he picks a VP you like.

  • @Mozart1220

Ron Paul isn't going anywhere. Just keep telling that to yourself.

  • @DramaBlock The guy is 78 years old. Have you ever seen what the presidentcy does to a YOUNG man?

  • Murderer. Bring him to the International Criminal Court, along with everyone else who did nothing to stop the murder of Davis

  • Remind me to never vote for this guy again. I'm so disappointed. RIP Troy.

  • @oanunkor He didn't even talk about Troy.

  • @AstronomyGuru84 Exactly! I know he couldn't "step in" because it's a state law. But he could have at least spoke about it. Black people are going to remember that in this upcoming election...

  • fuck you barack obama.you let Troy Davis die! shut the fuck up!!

  • The problem with the death penalty is that is irreversible and a retrospective pardon doesn't help much, the number of proven innocent after the execution after the years is significantly notorious, besides, that doesn't seem to down the crime rates more than the countries that don't have the Death Penalty, doesn't seem to be a deterrant... so why risk to kill an innocent if it's not a deterrant and doesn't lower the crime rates whatsoever?

  • " . . . and eye for an eye leaves everybody blind . . . " - Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Immediately after the killing of Troy Davis, the MacPhail family commented that they think that their healing will come soon. Don't hold your breathe on that. No one will feel better because two people are dead instead of one. Your family member is dead, whether you kill someone else of not. The only thing you'll feel is guilt. We should all repent.

  • @KevinSoulman MLK didn't say that. Gandhi did. =p

I agree with the rest of what you said though.

  • Fuck it, I'm moving to Canada.

  • @xxshruthixx

Unless you think that executing murderers is worse the killing litlle babies you should stay.Check interesting video on youtube about your new country Canada :Michael Coren On The Katrina Effert Case .

  • THE DEATH PENALTY SUCKS

  • All Europe has a lower crime rate than the( at lest the EU) and we don't rely on medieval practices to achieve that! I proud of our Union for that!

  • @ANYONE3041937kyc well said

  • theres too many innorcent lives which have been falsely sentenced to death.

if an innorcent person gets locked up, turns out innorcent, can be released.

If an innorcent person gets accused, sentenced to death, excecuted.

    woops too late.

  • @curingaging00 I am Troy Davis

  • @curingaging00

If I was innocently convicted of a crime and sentenced to life in prison, I would much rather be put out of my misery than endure 60-some years of rape, violence, and fear.

  • @Mrpastry909 I would agree with ya, but then again, they could find you innocent and release you.

I've read about many cases of innocent prisoners whom have been released after being found innocent or lack of significant evidence.

  • @curingaging00

I'm sure you've read about the horror of young children getting cancer. It's terrible, right? That doesn't mean that the majority of children have cancer. When you focus on only the innocent victims of the death penalty, it makes you think that there are more than there really are, because your only experience with the death penalty is researching the wrongfully convicted. If you read a book only on the 1% of victims, you forget that there's a guilty as sin 99% still there.

  • @curingaging00

Well that's great that you do research, but what percentage of all prisoners do you think are wrongfully convicted? If you only read about those who were innocent you'll tend to think that most prisoners are innocent. Don't get so focused on the one or two innocent people in a system that you forget the thousands of guilty people who give that system a purpose.

  • canada sucks!

  • @123jumoliyo They don't murder their own citizens, so they're good in my book. :D

  • @Task5003 in America there is things that are worth dying or killing for.

  • ronpaul2012

  • Why does Barack's (I mean Barry's) clone look 20 yrs old? They are slipping.

  • @fasfsdfasd

    ww w. deathpenaltyinfo .o rg /deterrence-states-without-death-penalty-have-had-consistently-lower-murder-rates

    (remove spaces)

  • The dealth penalty is never approprate it. The justice system is so corruot that how do you now if the person is truly guilty. Texas executed an innocent man. We are supposed to be a civilized society. Not a society of vengence. If you condone this youre no better than those your judge !

  • @fasfsdfasd

Uhhh, the US more actively enforces the death penalty than Japan or Singapore.

Also it is wrong to compare countries and their crime rates and say differences are dependent on whether capital punishment exists in one or the other due to there being so many other differences. However looking at the crime rate between states in the US and linking it to the presence of the death penalty is much more accurate. Turns out that states with the death penalty have higher crime rates..

  • i dont understand the death penalty. or jail in general, really. JUST because u make a mistake, you have to go to jail for years for it? it's insane. you have to hand over your rights just because u killed someone, raped someone, stole, etc. i mean, we all make mistakes. it's kinda insane that we should have to hand over our rights and sometimes out lives bc of them. you know?

  • @Rachulie i hope you are being sarcastic, cuz if not you are fucking retarded.

  • @Beararmz, Because if you dont believe in eye for an eye you may as well just excuse the killer's crime altogether. I think its disgusting that if someone killed your mom or dad youd be ok with the killer staying alive in prison while your loved one lies rotting in the ground. and dont call me hitler jackass, dont EVER compare me to that fucking scumbag asshole murdering savage.
