hey im trying to choose between a crx an eclipse gt or an evo im planing on doing a lot of work to any car i get but im just wondering what would be the fastest car money isint that much of a problem so any advice would be appreciated

There are more street legal Evos in the 9s and 10s then CRXs. CRXs with a motor swap is a prime example of power to weight ratio. Drag is one thing but in the twistys and the tracks a CRX cant have to big of a motor in it because it throws off its handling characteristics. Nice kill to the CRX but that Evo probably had few boltons nothing outrageous because he was not coming out the hole to fast. Either way nice kill to the CRX

The CRX is way Cheaper than a stock EVO.
A Honda CRX is a simple, fast and durable car and after tuning it becomes a frightening fast car.
A stock EVO is faster but also "expensive" and has short service intervals.

If the evo had the same weight as the CRX it would rape it. CRX weights much less and it has to have alot of mods to beat the Evo. and its AWD vs FWD come on.

If you do that. You would have to take off Evo's AWD, turbo, wing, seats, a/c, stereo, etc. And you're left with a base stripped down Lancer and the CRX will still smoke it.

CRX is not even stock, D15 or D16 engine sucks 93HP to the crank wow you would get about 86 to the wheels, Strip down Stock evo vs stock CRX, evo would win. you have to do a swap engines to make it fast thats not stock anymore. anyways 4G63T best 4cyl engine for making power.

There are more street legal Evos in the 9s and 10s then CRXs. CRXs with a motor swap is a prime example of power to weight ratio. Drag is one thing but in the twistys and the tracks a CRX cant have to big of a motor in it because it throws off its handling characteristics. Nice kill to the CRX but that Evo probably had few boltons nothing outrageous because he was not coming out the hole to fast. Either way nice kill to the CRX

crxs have the best power to weight ratio and i wuld not be suprised if a NA one beats a turbo car. crxs win alot of races e.g look up crx vs nsx. or crx vs lambo.... or crx vs 240sx.. lets seee u big piece off shit lancer do that. lancers are gay rice box's. if u want a real 4wd machine GTR is the way to go.

actually a stock CR-X SiR with Honda's 1.6 Vtec engine outputs 160 horsepower. And since the SiR weighs 930 kg it means it outputs 170 hp per tonne... And that's more than you get from a Porsche Boxter. So stick that in your sports exhaust mr.mitsubishi

Actually a stock Evo 8 outputs 261 bhp and since it weighs 1440kg it means it outputs 177 hp per tonne.....and I don't know which model of Porsche Boxster you're talking about but none I've researched have anything lesser than 177hp per tonne. Maybe its your own cardbox "Boxter" instead of the real "Boxster"?
Finally, ever heard of torque? Probably not. So do some proper research and some basic engineering Mr Don't Own Any Car.

Evo obviously has more power to weight ratio, not denying that. Thats why you pay an extra 10-15k dollars to own one (where I come from at least. Still, you can put a super/turbocharger on the CRX. The evo comes with one already installed. If you o that... Vtec turbo... That mitsubishi is seeing CRX dust. Oh and I have a CRX Vti so... sod off you silly cunt. xxx
