Zechariah 14:1-21 is talking the Antichrist's battle against Jerusalem prior to Christ's 2nd coming when the whole house of Israel will convert, not now or the near future. This battle will happen after the 3rd temple is built. Jerusalem was reunited in 1967 under Israeli rule ("the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled", Luke 21:24) & will never be divided again.

Zechariah 14:1-21 is talking the Antichrist's battle against Jerusalem prior to Christ's 2nd coming when the whole house of Israel will convert, not now or the near future. This battle will happen after the 3rd temple is built. Jerusalem was reunited in 1967 under Israeli rule ("the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled", Luke 21:24) & will never be divided again.
Zechariah 12:3 On that day I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples. All who lift it will surely hurt themselves.

@givethanks1314 Zachariah 14:1 tells us that Jerusalem will be divided. In verse 1, it tells us this will happen before the day Jesus sets His foot on Mount of Olives. How much longer this happens before that day is unknow, only that it is going to happen.
The Jews were not in possession of Jerusalem when it was ruined by Rome. They lived there but did not own it, like they do now. The only spoil that can be Israel has since 1967 is Jerusalem...

Luke 21:24 is not yet completely fulfilled: though Jerusalem has been under Israeli control since 1967, it is still heavily influenced by the gentiles. In the 2nd half of the Great Trib., Jerusalem will be trampled by the gentiles for 4 months. Revelation 11:2

The UN already voted to take Jerusalem away from Israel in 1947. They failed.
Backed by the British, in May 1948, Jordan invaded and occupied east Jerusalem, dividing the city for the first time in its history. From 1948-67, the city was divided between Israel and Jordan. Israel made western Jerusalem its capital. For this reason (violating the UN decision), only 2 countries have their embassies in Jerusalem –– Costa Rica and El Salvador.
Jerusalem will not be divided.

Jerusalem is an opportunity to be a light unto the nations, to show the world that it is possible to share our bowl of lentil stew, as it were. @nyxstory If you got this from Israel Today, you might want to reconsider. They put out news that no other agency does, and if Netahahu did divide Jerusalem it would be very big news. I have found that Israel Today magazine can't be fully trusted. They feed to Christians what we want to hear, so just be careful. They once posted that a life sized temple was being built but when I kept asking them where, they wouldn't tell me where this was happening.

Jews only came from Judah. The reason ALL of those in Israel today are called Jews is because many of them are NOT Jews but falsely claiming to be Jews. Read 2 Kings 17 to see this and read Revelation (144,000) are the 12 United tribes by name. Christians are falsly teaching Israel has been re-established when it has not.

@triplen3 A good study of the Old Testament shows that the nations that surround Israel set out to not only destroy Isreal, but to divide it..God says in Joel 3:2 that his anger comes down on those who divide the land. I did put the scriptures in the video.

The Old Testament is like a history book, it is the history of the Jewish People and how God dealt with them and the gentiles. The Old Testament is Israel, just as IT says.
Esau is NOT the true Israel, just read the OT and you will see that.

@perfectioninheaven When I first heard that Obama was running for President, I went and did some ivestigative work on the ineternet. There was much out there on Obama, much that he denies now and has for a long time.
I knew we were in trouble when he said he was a faithful Muslim, and then took on Christianity because no one would vote for him as a Muslim. In Islam, it is okay to lie for the sake of allah. What he is doing now to Israel is no surprise to me at all.

I think that this President is all about making a 'name' for himself regardless of the long term consequences. He is doing things that make no sense financially or otherwise.
