Remember to tell your customers to install their most played games to the hard drive that way it plays way more quieter, im sure you knew that but your customers might not.. your mods are awesome..
mine runs off batterys , i was just testing you , take a look at my vids , it would take 234 bucks plus s&h and ya way upwards of 20 lbs , it would add 13.5 lbs to any system and it would only run for 4 and a half hours , (thats acually a lot for gaming)
I would very much like to make something like this could you please help me along by emailing me instructions and helpful hints, it would be much appreciated.
FANTASTIC! Love that you got rid of an external power brick, kept the Kinect & USB ports, Kept the HDMI Out, and have an Optical Audio Out available. Only downside to this was not having the keyboard that you did in previous models. Of course, that would mean it'd be bulkier in size. You could implement a small keyboard.
Sad that you have to put these projects on the backburner due to school but hopefully we see your great work again in the future!
@jleoncion Thank you for the kind words. The omission of the keyboard was actually no decision of mine, but rather at the specific request of the client. Personally I think it's a cool feature and would definitely build one in if I ever made one for myself :p
Something I"m kind of curious about with these XBox Laptops is whether or not there's a way to make them run more like laptops in the sense of using a rechargeable battery as the power supply instead of a conventional wall plug setup.
guys contact me if you want one but it wont look as good we are now working on putting a battery in it and a car adaptar this will alow better portability please make an inquiry about the price you can use online with ours and it has a keyboard
Can you make me one and i am very interested in this and i also want to know how much it costs please get back to me as soon as possible and my email is nabil_adil2000@hotmail.co.uk thank you
I am interested in buying one. But a question... Can you make the xbox 360 slim as above with pc use as well without connecting to a pc? I have a son that likes this and he was interested in playing World of warcraft on it as well. go to my page, I'll add ya and subscribe as well
lol this is pretty bad ass but i just realized why not just buy a laptop lol alot less thick not trolling i thought this way really cool but you can just use a gaming laptop
Hi I'm making a xbox laptop I have bought the case I just need something to cover up the electronics I have seen the PVC stuff on youtube but I can't find it anywhere I do not own a cnc machine do have any recommendations for me?
@iguanabrad The stuff we use is called Komatex, you can find it from a couple different places online. It's really easily machinable, so if you have a table saw or a router or even a good knife and a steady hand you could make it work. You could really use anything though, just work with what you're comfortable with.
I dont understand why no-ones used an LED monitor cos it would be a hell of a lot better, thinner display, and it has a DC power input so would be easier to hookup as the ac adapter is external so there would be less wiring needed
@UberCuba No one makes 17" widescreen LEDs and using anything bigger than that defeats the purpose of trying to make these as small as possible. Your wiring argument is a little strange as well, seeing as I wire the current setup via DC already.
@thetwoj Ahh, thats why, but the wiring thing i meant as in less modifications needed to the monitor. Its really weird that there are no 17" LED monitors, I found some ones on alibaba but I don't think they count cos you wouldn't need 100 of them
would the speaker in the middle of the xtop cause any problems?

hey why dont you make one battery powered? seriously can anyone tell me why not?
aterack833 5 months ago
@aterack833 It would require several hundred dollars worth of batteries and would cause the X-Top to weigh in somewhere north of 20 lbs.

@miniclip876 They don't make them small enough.

@miniclip876 HDMI = DVI + sound simple as that. since he don't need have the speakers on the monitor DVI makes more sense.
