  • Thanks! :D Just wondering, is it sturdy enough for stronger upgrades?

  • Hey, my cylinder became distorted because my friend dropped it while pulling the bolt back, now the bolt jams and is very hard to pull because of grinding.k was afraid of further damage so I removed the cylinder. I need a replacement badly, what do you recommend?

  • @oroxiong Links are heading you way in your inbox!

    :)

  • to make work te cocking pin indicator, i must chanche the end srcew to one that has a hole in it?? the sock one is a stantard hallen screw. were i can buy the mentioned screw?

  • @tanokkk Check the shape of your trigger box before attempting to make the pin operable. Is your trigger box retangular (square) or trapazoidal (triangle)? This will only work if your trigger box is rectagular. They MAY some of the screw WITH the hole on sale somewhere.....

  • It makes the hider look much more beasty. I might consider getting it.

  • What is the piece you put on the barrel before you put on the Anti-tank Dino flash hider?

  • @oroxiong You can use a standard Type 96 silenser adaptor. I used the PDI Type 2 flash hider adapter that came with my flash hider. It was not a perfect fit into the barrel end. So now it is a permanent feature. It is 14mm negative (anti-clock-wise) thread.

  • what do you use to polish the inside of your barrel?

  • @DunkableDave I used Brasso, then Blue Magic. You can also use Flitz.

  • @ Kameleon808 -I just got a Mauser SR .177 today! It is sick! is in fact a BB gun too, so i cant shoot people with it:( jk

How do you cock a break barrel? Ive only ever had airsoft guns...

  • @IanFromOregon My guess is, near the frame front, should be a barrel lock. Release that lever, and the barrel should "pop out". then you grasp that barrel, and push it outward until you hear a click. Aren't they any instructions for that gun? And a .177 version! Now you got ME going! Going to look on-line for one...

  • srry but this is retards with another account retards is my friends and said this vid was cool so can a have a link to flash hider and adapter and the tightbore barrel please.

  • @Haf9Airsoft OK! In a few minutes in your inbox...

    =D

  • Hey Please recommend a mock suppresser for this gun would this work ?A.C.M. Light Weight Zombie Killer 160mm ? Please recomend something from this sight :) Torontoairsoft . c o m

  • where did you get the flash hider and adapter

  • @retards1with1phones I will send you links in your inbox soon!

  • @808Kameleon thanks will it work for a mauser pro sr22

  • as part of the means by which you have the stock cylinder open?

  • @darkshoot88 Yes. I used the stock cylinder at THIS time. The piston, and piston head, along with the spring guide was swapped out.

At 4:48, I bring in the new K2 cylinder set. That is a complete change of everything. It IS expensive, but worth the price. Nearly three years approaching, it is still being used today, with NO problems, what-so-ever!

  • @808Kameleon whats is a good hop up other than the pdi because sniper barrels are nearly as expensive as the pdi hop up every one just says to use the pdi but are there any other one that do about the same thin or allow me to use aeg baels

  • @midgetmarine2 There isn't much. But there WERE one that was a brass copy of the stock. I see those are sold out everywhere! IF I find one, I will send you the link.

  • hiya, i was looking for that prometheus 534 mm precision barrel, and the only i could find where those that are for the SIG 550, is that the one?

  • @IVblackoutIV YES! Prometheus 534mm 6.03mm for the SIG 550. That is still in my rifle after 2 1/2 yeasrs! You need the PDI or similar end cap to accomidate the longer barrel.

  • which piston fould you recommend ?

The one with the piston cup like you have or the stock style piston

  • @markkus2007 The piston cup has to be replaced every six months. But it does its job well. PDI has vacuum pistons or longer range shooting, but it is said you will loose about 8 - 12 FPS with vacuum piston. All-in-all, it all depends on your inner barrel lenght and the diameter of your inner core of your inner barrel. Most rifle owners will go for extreme and go for the 6.01mm tight bore. I opted out to 6.03mm because I want the range. This is something you have to research. It's complex.

  • i have a spring mauser l96 gun , i purchased it in galway ireland , im hoping to get a gass gun , but before i do , is there anyway i cn make the spring airsoft mauser ,(like yours) into gas , lethal , hunting rifle? cheers...

  • @MrLimbo95 You are asking the wrong person! Truthfully, IF I could do this, I would! You have a marvelous idea here!

Tanaka has a gas powered L96 sniper rifle. But it is expensive.

  • @MrLimbo95 thanks very much :D

  • @xDzzProductions There are kits out thee that can upgrade your rifle to shoot 500 FPS and higher. Price rane is from less than $30.00, up the $200+. I spent a total of $650+..... FIRST thing you have to do is check if your rifle has the up-graded MEATL trigger assembly box pre-installed.

  • i have the mauser sr pro and when i bought it , the store clerk , told me he had to reduce it down to 1 joule from 1.9 how do i bring it back up to 1.9 and make it go further than 600 fps :) ?

  • @iRaV3NHD I guess you have to look on-line for upgrade parts. To shoot 600 FPS, first you NEED to replace your trigger assembly box. Then you have to change out your spring, piston, and spring guide. You can Google "maruzen type 96 upgrades"..... Maruzen is the Made in Japan original, of which the Chinese cloned it to a cheaper (and I mean CHEAPER) rifle. Happy hunting! IF you have problems locating any specific part, write me a message in my inbox.

  • @floedebolle17 Someone FLAGGED your message. Did you solve the magazine problem yet?

  • Hey man whats the link for the spring upgrade? thanks

  • @xOriginal360 Before I send you links, what are your price range and limit?

  • @808Kameleon Ammm about £40 ? or is that not enough or too little

  • @xOriginal360 Ihaveyo convert the Euro into American Dollar, and get back with you. I will find, then send you links in your inbox....

  • Can you send me the link to buy the PSG-1 flash supressor and the adaptor for it? Thanks!

  • @DarkLittleKid OK! In your inbox... YouTube doesn't allow links on public comments!

  • i've got a new hop up bracket, i ordered a new magazine release and hop up unit. now i need some internals and maybe some externals and i should be good to go! i am trying to make the magazine extended out, might work, might not. thats the fun of building

  • question about the compressed coild spring.. does it matter if you have the coild part near the piston head or spring guide?

  • @thagooseisloose In variable-pitch compression springs, the closer-tighter coils goes in through the SPRING GUIDE side. This is true for both spring sniper rifles and AEGs. If it was accidently placed the other way with the closer coils going into the piston, serious damage could result to your spring, and spring guide, piston end, and inside of your cylinder!

  • @808Kameleon damn alright, didnt know that befor.. glad i found out befor i got my new spring and cyilder thanks

  • @thagooseisloose A LONG time ago... during my "trial by fire days", I have done this, and it was my Tokyo marui MP5. The piston cycle immediately seized, and removing the stuck and somewhat compressed spring snapped the piston forward while removing the two gearbox halves apart, breaking my then $150.00 gearbox!

Prices 10 years ago were double and in some cases triple what we are paying for parts now.....

    =D

  • @808Kameleon damn that sucks!.. but im still paying a shit ton for upgrades!! more than my whole gun!! $260 for cylinder, piston, nozzle, and spring guide. but that laylax bolt handle for aps2 is so expencive. $100 with shipping just for a BOLT HANDLE!?!? must of sucked 10 years ago...

  • @thagooseisloose My upgrades DID cost WAY more than the price of my rifle. The trigger alone cost more than the cost of the rifle with bipod and scope, and extra mags, and Fed Ex shipping ($207.68)... The trigger alone withOUT the cost of shipping? $208.00!!!!! But this trigger is no longer available. Those seen me with it in my videos bought it and the ONLY shop in the world eventually sold out!

Ten years ago, the upgrades for my MP5 exceeded $1000.00 and the gun itself cost $300.00!

  • @808Kameleon thats crazy what kind of trigger is it?. $1000.00 in upgrades on a $300 gun?! thats nuts.. must of been a beast mp5 though?

  • @thagooseisloose The trigger for the sniper rifle is a K2 (brand) trigger that is made in japan, hence the price and QUALITY It is two years old and still holding my piston back, firing at 529 FPS with .20. But i use .40.

My MP5 is finally semi-retired after 10 years of usage! The cylinder and spring guide is 10 years old! Replacing the piston head once, and went through numerous gearboxes, and springs, and I think i chage my piston head once. Went through several pistons, though.....

  • @808Kameleon oh is it like the zero trigger for aps2? i have a ca m24 and i stil have the stock trigger and have heard from many people that i shouldnt need to buy a new one because the stock one holds up very well, i just upgraded my cylinder piston spring guide air nozzle and a laylax 150sp spring and i hope it dosent fail on me now and was thinking about getting either a pdi v trigger or a zero trigger... i might as well because it is the last thing on the gun thats stock... dam 10 years nice

  • @thagooseisloose I had someone mention that the K2 is better than the APS2 Zero trigger. But that was just one person. I better familiar myself with the CA M24 before I answer any more questions.

  • @808Kameleon alright well thanks for everything man.. keep your videos coming, love them

  • @95mitar The metal trigger replacement. The plastic one will break again and waste your money! I will send the links to your inbox now.....

  • @95mitar I have just ONE e-shop in Europe. I had a Subscriber living in England who ordered a first generation trigger assembly from America last year. You could try and e-mail each shop I will send you links to, if they can send toEurope. Will be sending the links to your inbox shortly.

  • thank you!! but.. would it really hurt to say anything about the parts?

  • @DunkableDave Huh? My videos are silent, because I would be a horrible narrator. It already took 14 takes to get the video right with me NOT speaking. Probably 190 takes IF I spoke!

    =D

  • What is the tool you are useing?

  • @MrDGUY123 It is used for removing the cylinder. It is sold on-line. But hard to find because most e-shops are sold out.

  • took 14 times to make this video im subscribing

  • Do you recommend the king arms piston?

  • @Frangoose Yes. My first upgrade was a King Arms piston. But change your stock plastic trigger assembly first! I have many viewers requesting links for new metal trigger assemblies.

  • ya i remember u made that video about it coming soon

  • @mattb807 If you are willing to spend more than $120.00 for upgrades, let me know in my inbox, and I will send you links to my airsoft suppliers in Hong Kong.

  • @808Kameleon well i just bought a zero trigger but not the laylax piston and it really messed up my cylinder do i need the laylax piston

and will also need the laylax spring guide and soring theyre already upgarded

  • @mattb807 What DO you have as your piston? Are you using a stock piston with the Zero trigger? I need a better picture of what you had done to your cylinder innards...

  • Do u know if i need the piston thar comes with the zero trigger o and btw have u

Checked out all the new parts PDI has nade fr the type 96 and its clones u should go look at em there mostky on airsoft atlanta

  • @mattb807 I bought my PDI hop-up chamber from X-Fire in Japan. At that time, the dollar was not as weak against the Japanese yen. From X-Fire, I get all the NEW products from PDI before any American shops does. PDI is made in Japan, so X-Fire in Japan gets all the new products before anyone else does.

I announced the new PDI all metal trigger assembly for the L96 before anyone else did...

    =D

  • will these work in the vsr-10

  • @superxgman NO! It will not. I had another viewer who as extremely angry that he bought a PDI hop-up chamber for a VSR-10, and it didn't fit! He must had read somewhere that it will work, while in actuality, he found out it did not. Do not believe what you read in forums!

This video is for the L96 clones and the original Maruzen Type 96 only.

  • what is the tool you used at 2:46? the copper tube looking thing

  • @supallama It is actually lavender, but on video it looks..... pink.... That is specifically made for removing the cylinderhead. They sell these on most on-line shops. Look under "Tools" for search. If you cannot find it, send me a PM, and I will send you links. Most shops are sold out.... But I can find at least one that has it available.

  • @808Kameleon

Hi I am From Germany and I want to tune my softair, but i cant find this tool can you name the tool or send me some addresses where i can buy this?

    Thank you

    Fabian

  • @Strzelsky I have numerous request for this tool. Most e-shops are sold out. I will send you links for it in your inbox, since YouTube will not allow links in public comments.

  • ugh my hop chamber is weird it applies little hop up so i taped down this spring in it to hop up correctly

  • @AirsoftSniper2145 Check you bucking if it is all the way into the barrel, and the .... wait... do you have a PDI hop-up chamber? I forgot.....

  • @808Kameleon I have a stock hop up system, is this a common problem or no?

  • @AirsoftSniper2145 Stock. Got it. You could add a larger preasure pad to increase preasure on the bucking. Oh, stock rifle cannot use heavier than .25 pellets, by the way. It you do, it will start dropping around only 120 feet.....

  • @808Kameleon does the 120 foot drop apply to all airsoft snipers or just the mauser clones and mausers? I am using a .32 so i need a pdi hop up system?

  • @95mitar SORRY! I do NOT have Skype, or use any social network. I don't have FaceBook or use Twitter, or anything! YouTube is my only "social network". I am so busy here answering questions from around the world!

I caught your message right before I was going to log off for the day. It is 1:30 AM after midnight, and way past my time to sleep! I will answer more questions when I wake up in a few hours!

    =D

  • @95mitar There ARE metal trigger assembly on sale, unless you really want to build one yourself. I SUGGEST you make a video, and you will get a LOT of views!!!

    =D

I do have a few videos about the K2, but unfortunitely, I mentioned before the K2 is probably discontinued!

    ;(

  • @95mitar

I bought this trigger assembly from Hong Kong, but they are OUT of it now, and I have a feeling that it is discontinued. This trigger assembly is made in JAPAN, and I quite doupt they will make more after the situation they had there recently. You can check for "Zero Trigger", and a trigger that someone made and is selling. If I can find his link, i can send you the link, also, I will send you links for metal replacement triggers. I am not sure these shops will ship to Serbia.

  • hi,

i am thinkinking of buying this rifle, but it is too powerfull to use on my local airsofting site, so what spring would you recomend to reduce the FPSto 380 MAX with 0.20g.

    thanks!:)

  • @thedefiantrebel

A Subscriber of mines figured out that the spring strenght of the STOCK spring is 120. I really seriously do not know if there is any spring below a 120. You can do one of the following. IF you have a chrono, measure your velocity, then either do one of the following. CUT your spring with a Dremel 1/4 inch at a time, checking the velocity as you go. Cut ONLY 1/4 inch at a time until your velocity reaches 380 FPS. OR try and leave your spring compressed for a week.

  • @808Kameleon thanks!

i dont have a chrono, so ill try and leave the spring compressed for a while.

or i could go to the airsofting site and use theyre chrono and try trimming the spring.

    thanks so much!! :)

  • @808Kameleon i found a 110SP spring, similar to the 120 one you had in the video.

it is the: Laylax (PSS2) Spring - 110SP

do you think that this would bring the FS down to near 380 because they (people at the airsofting site) dont mind if it is about 20FPS over.

  • @thedefiantrebel THEY HAVE a 110 spring?! I am always thinking of "UPPING" my velocity, I never looked for a weaker spring! Yes, you could try and get the 110 spring. Keep in mind that a stock L96 rifle will be shooting around 460 FPS (435 - 450 realistically) out of the box. Already up-graded ones will be shotting around 480 - 490 FPS.

    Good luck!

    =D

  • @808Kameleon thanks!! :D

  • @thedefiantrebel

    use 0.30g bbs :P

  • Übersetzung von Deutsch nach Englisch

Hello! I have the same gun! I have for this gun an aluminum "silencer" built. And it is equipped with lamp and laser. I prefer to shoot with aluminum ammunition. :) Greetings! Roman

  • @1986con

I would be honored for you to make a video of your rifle! I just LOVE your work on your USS Enterprise and Voyager!

  • How to make barrels spacers???

  • @piaul78 You actually buy the barrel spacers. But you could possibly make barrel out of simple sewing thread spools. Wooden ones works better. Just have to lathe the outer diameter to exact size of the inside of your outer barrel, and the inner barrel has to fit snug. I have the PDI barrel spacers, made out of nylon plastic, with 2 o-rings on the inside, and two o-rings on the outside, making it a snug fit. I used four barrel spacers for maximum inner barrel retention and vibration proof.

  • where do you get most of your parts from? like off line or what? and if ofline what site?

  • @MrSoccer37 Most of my parts came from Tokyo-Model Shop out in Hong Kong. Tokyo-Model is the world's LARGEST airsoft parts supplier! They have parts NO ONE ELSE in the world has! Some parts, I bought the last ones in the world!

  • @808Kameleon thanks for the website. they have so many different parts ive never seen before

  • @MrSoccer37

    =D

And my trigger assembly just recently was sold out after almost two years i was checking up on it, and proving links to it! So that only means, NO ONE IN THE WORLD will sell the K2 trigger assembly for the Maruzen Type 96 and its Chinese-made clones!

  • Were did u get that tip?

  • @xjkillerx Tip? The flash hider? It is the more expensive one with the 14mm negative thread adapter. PSG-1 Dino flash hider from Tokyo-Model e-shop out in Hong Kong.

  • I've just ordered the last gun in stock from my original retailer! Do you recommending upgrading any parts at all or leave it stock for the first few games?

    cheers.

  • @ChrizFromUK Leave it stock for a few games. Get used to the feel of the rifle first, and get used to the stock shooting (distance pellet flies, and accuracy) before starting any up-grades. The FIRST up-grade is... the trigger assembly. It WILL break. After that, the piston, spring, and spring guide. Inner barrel and hop-up chamber is when you are ready to go extreme.....

    =D

  • Thanks for this video, finally got my own fixed after watching you disassembling the internals of the cylinder. Had forgotten that metal rod goes in from the back along with the little spring.

  • @Kazuma8989

Did you know you could made that useless rod actually DO something? Add a slightly longer screw to the front of the piston head by simply swapping out the screw, you can make that pin pop out the rear of your bolt when you chamber a round into the hop-up chamber.....

  • Okay, I have the same exact sniper, and whenever I pull the bolt back, it flys forward. It doesn't stay back, so there's something wrong with it. I've looked at some of the internals and I can't figure out what's wrong with it.

Do you have any idea of what's going on with my gun? Thank you.

  • @pivotchampion If you put more than 50 shots through the rifle, I can GUARENTEE that you have a cracked trigger box. The place to look is when you take OFF your trigger box, look at the top where the retainers are for the "L" shape spring is, and you will find it crackd off. Or the area where you srew the box to your frame. Some worst case is the box is cracked in half! I will send you links for a new trigger box in your personal message.

  • @pivotchampion utg is shit get a zero trigger

  • but can a 470 fps can be usable in bird hunting and stuff..

  • @RYUNOMI13TADEH Yeah, I struck down bitds at 100 feet with .23, .25, .36 pellets with 435 - 460 FPS. No problem.

  • @808Kameleon cool.. i think i need to grab one now.. hahahaha

    thanks for the info mateXD

  • @RYUNOMI13TADEH no get an airgun for that 1000fps airsoft is made for play not hunting

  • is this a spring power L96

  • @RYUNOMI13TADEH Yes it is. A Mauser SR, which is the SAME rifle as the WELL MB01, UTG Type 96, UTG L06 AWP, UTG Shadow OPs, TSD Tactical L96 and the Tercel M03 Mars, which is a cheaply made in China clone of the Japan made Maruzen Type 96.

  • @808Kameleon how strong is it??? i mean how hard does it hit..?? can it go for like 600 fps..

  • @RYUNOMI13TADEH Out of the box, it shot around 440 - 460 FPS for up to a month, then the velocity did drop. After up-grades, it went back up to the 450 - 470 FPS.

I made a few videos that show HONEST results, and a time consuming progress to bring it up to 500 FPS, after the piston started to fail, and added new spring, it STILL failed to shoot what I want. 500 FPS. It is NOT what people will think. Put a stronger spring, the rifle will shoot a higher FPS. The stock parts ARE junk anyway!

  • hey my l96 recently broke and the bolt will not click or lock when pull all the way back have any suggestions

  • @dcboy199 Oh..OH! This sounds like OTHER guys with the cheap L96 Chinese made clones! It is most likely your trigger assembly just cracked. Remove top half barrel, chassis section from the plastic frame, and take a look at your trigger assembly box. Is it cracked, or cracked off? If so, message me again, and I will send you the link for a replacement.

  • @808Kameleon it is cracked

  • @dcboy199 OK... I will send you the links for replacement in your personal message.....

  • fps test it for the max rating

i must know how powerful a spring sniper can get

  • @TheSiban I had some chrono shots in my other videos.....

My latest video I am now working on is "Quest for 500 FPS". It isn't as we think. Add a stronger spring, your velocity goes up. NOPE! It also depends on barrel lenght, inner diameter, and type of pellets used. A COMBINATION of all of these factors will finally determine your increase of velocity. Also the type of pistonhead that can handle the greater velocity asserted upon it.

  • The single person who gave this video a thumbs down is probably jeolous he didn't think this was possible, and he didn't make a video before I did.....

    ;D

  • the tigger is original?

  • @0331382 The trigger assembly you see in this video is an up-graded trigger. The original is made of plastic, and WILL fall apart on you some day. It did so to many of my viewers and Subscribers.

This one on my video is a Made in Japan K2, made of billet aluminum external shell, and all steel internals.

  • Where did you get the upgrades?

  • @R0k3tl4wnch41r My upgrades was all mail order mostly from Hong Kong and Japan. They are terrific in shipping time and service. If you need links to the on-line stores, I have to give them to you in your inbox (personal message) YouTube doesn't allow links publically.

  • @808Kameleon shure go ahead, would they ship to canada>

  • @R0k3tl4wnch41r I don't see why. Does Canada have a import restriction on airsoft guns and parts? I'll send you the links anyway in your Personal Message (Inbox)...

  • what if you only want to upgrade the spring for higher Fps,will it be okay by itself or do you have to buy other upgrades to reinforce the more powerful spring?

  • @christiangd12 Hey, sorry to say, that with the STOCK springs, guys was breaking the stock trigger box! If you are going to get your FPS up, you HAVE to get a stronger trigger assembly, which is shockingly more expensive than your rifle! Unless you are good in fabrication, and can rebuild your trigger box like my Subscriber "Woden" did! Check out his video. (Go to my Channel, and look him up (Goku Character - "Dragonball Z" as his avatar picture), click on his Channel... see his videos!

  • does anyone know what the tool at 2:45 is called. I need to know to help someone. Please answer asap. Thank you!

  • @Taairsoftteam It is called "First Factory PSS2 Cylinder Opener For Maruzen APS2/Type 96/VSR10". It cost $18.00. I got it from Tokyo Model Shop in Hong Hong. I checked on stores in America. It is sold out..... Tokyo Model seems to STILL have them in stock.

  • dud i love you !!! will u send me a link to where u bought ill this stuff, i have been looking for a vid like this for months !! best vid on youtube man, pleease send me some links to this awsome stuff :D !!!!!!!!

  • @yoghurt734 Quite frankly, not much people knows about fully up-grading a Chinese-made clone of the Maruzen Type 96. I will send you the links in your inbox if you promise NOT to drool on your keyboard!

    =D

  • Hey man 808 would you please be so kind and play the endorser here and send me the shop names etc too?? Further more it would be nice to know something about the effective range, accuracy and reliability now. Did you lock all screws with loctite? My teammate has to re-tight most screws after 20 to 30 shots. Regards in advance Wolf

  • @WolfSerno Sure will! I will send the links to your inbox since YouTube don't allow links publically.

I do apply Lock Tite = Tamiya Thread Lock to all my screws exxcept the 2 screws holding the receiver and barrel ro the frame. The most important is the screws for the scope mount! It is NOT a good idea to use Lock Tite on the plastic trigger box, since it will melt the plastic!

  • just wondering do you know where i can find the screws that hold the body to the the gun? its the 2 screws on the bottom that u unscrew to take it apart. i lost my screws and i cant find any

  • even the flashhider because that thing looks beast with it on

  • Everything that you can get your hands on and more if you can thank you

  • I know you gave me the links to some stores in the U.S. but 2 things, is it cheaper over seas or in the U.S. and what are the links for the over seas stores?

  • @thepoll599 The prices for parts are coming down in the U.S. as in Japan. Hong Kong, remains the same. Let me know what particular part you are looking for, and I can send to the link in your inbox.

  • what was better the K2 cylinder set or the king arms and first factory cylinder?

  • They are all good, actually. Both Fisrt Factory and the K2 I am using now are make in JAPAN, while the King Arms you mention is made in Kong Kong.

The K2 piston that came with my set is a full gram lighter than my Fist Factory piston.

  • how do you modifie the hop-up on this rifle please ?

  • @carabistouflette You can purchase a modified hop-up chamber like this PDI hop-up chamber on-line. Most on-line stores I purchased from are in Hong Kong, but there are a few in The United Kingdom as well as here in America.

YouTube will NOT allow me to post store links in public, so if you want store links, I have to send them in your private message inbox.

  • hey help me ;P i have the same gun as with no upgrades but the bullet always strafes to the left :( i use 0.28 gram bb:s . ive cleaned the barrel and all that. but same problem. what do you suggest ??

  • @shirgit Two things..... wind. Wind does have an important factor to the direction your pellets will fly. If wind is NOT the issue, it is a ding in your inner barrel, caused by a defective pellet that SCRATCHED your inside of your inner barrel! NEVER re-use a used pellet! Sometimes, a pellet is manufactured wrong, and it has a buldge on one side, and that can mar the inner barrel too.

  • @808Kameleon (To shirgit) I would suggest change out your barrel. There are sold on-line.....

  • but i think i will sell my current airsoft rifle and buy a tokyo marui vsr 10 g-spec

  • @shirgit Go to : patriotsniperpaul .type it in search bar he has a vid that tells you how to sort that out it called somthing like l96 hop up adjustment it should help you =D

  • yes that would help me a lot thanks.

  • were should i buy a 6.01 mm inner barrel for mauser sr not pro

  • Anywhere they sell 6.01mm inner barrels for AEGs. Just be CERTAIN you use high quality pellets for the tight bore barrel!

To my surprise, my PDI catalog stated that 6.08mm (stock) barrel had poor velocity, but good "carry", and 6.05 had fair velocity, and fair "carry". 6.01mm had excellent velocity but POOR "carry"!Airsoft IS different from REAL steel guns by means of carry!

IF you need the store links, I better give them to you in your inbox. YouTube does not allow links to be posted.....

  • WOO! HOO! My FIRST 1000 viewer video!

    Thanks for watching1

  • I would like to see a video of the full gun and what it looks like .A shooting video would be good too

  • Hmmmmm.........

Oh, I DID make a few videos of this gun shooting! Check out more videos from 808Kameleon to your right.....

  • Are the two springs 170sp and 210sp? I was going to get the king arms light weight trigger box but i read that you can reinforce the stock trigger box with epoxy. Is the pdi hop up good and does it increase your accuracy?I have 180 dollars to spend and I dont know what upgrade to get. Thanx for your last reply you are very helpful:-)

  • The spring used in my first modification was a Laylax 120 spring I got from eHobby Asia.

The recent upgrade from K2, there is NO indication to WHAT spring was sent. But you can see how LONG it is when placed in the cylinder, and a REAL fight to get IN! I must warn you you NEED that $208.00 trigger box to put that spring IN! It is a VERY expensie trigger box but well worth it! Heavy springs require a NEW trigger box. Epoxy can NOT hold the trigger sear together!

  • It may surprise you that the STOCK hop-up chamber was at first, BETTER in accuracy than the PDI! I got the PDI because of the longer barrel I was to install. As mention, it was a pain to adjust.

Ask yourself this question. What do you want out of your $180.00? More accuracy OR more DISTANCE? To get BOTH will run you over $400.00. Then you should get the Maruzen Type 96. But with the less than $250.00 spent on the Mauser, that $250 savings can go to upgrades!

  • Nice gun man where did you get the muzzle break and the trigger box. My shitty plastic trigger box cracked in two. I have a mauser sr :-)

  • I bought both from Tokyo Model out in Hong Kong. I have to send you the link through personal message. The trigger box IS MORE EXPENSIVE than the rifle, cheapo sling, the bipod, and the scope, a pair of mags, and Federal Express Shipping! The cost of my gun plus shipping was about $207.86. The trigger box ALONE is $208.00!!! Be careful when you buy the PSG1 muzzle break. there is one that will NOT fit, which is the chaper one. You got to get the one with the negative thread adaptor.

  • Thanks for your reply ;)

  • I'm abut to do more or less the same mods on mine but I'm nder the impression that the one thing you didn't change was the cilinder.

Is that right? The stock one will endure a stronger spring, like a 170 or a 190?

    Thanks

  • My FIRST modification was what you know. Leave the cylinder stock, because that was the most expensive item to replace. I DID eventually change out to a entire cylinder SET from K2 from Japan. The spring that was included in the set was a BEAST to put in!

All your upgrades should be based on HOW MUCH you are willing to spend. And different parts should be compatible to each other. If you are very careful in re-installing the cylinder head, your cylinder should endure a stronger spring.

  • i was wonderin if u would be ok if i asked u questions about airsoft time to time cause it looks like u know quite a bit about it i have been playin airsoft for awhile now and im thinkin of buyin parts and other stuff and maybe u can reccomend sites and help me with other

    things i might not understand

  • SURE! THAT is WHY I made these inform-type videos! A LOT of POSSIBILITIES CAN be made with Chinese clones of the Maruzen Type 96 sniper. But you end up saving nearly $300.00 (U.S.) in the process. And thanks for subscribing. You (and others) may ask me questions to my inbox.

  • cool i dont neccesarly have a maruzen type 96 i own a agm mp002 l96 and i was wondering if u got your parts from evike if not could you tell me. Also i have seen some videos on how to modify ur gun by just matierials u could find at home like commpresion kinda mods and maybe u could suggest some tips for mr thanks

  • Will do! Sending sites of my favorite on-line store links into your inbox... :)

  • Why did you need a new bolt handle and were those upgrades mainly for acuracy because the stock l96 power is 450 - 470 fps

  • The stock bolt is made of cheap aluminum alloy. Even I greased it well, it is aluminum rubbing on a steel bearing.

If you ever looked on-line for a new bolt- you cannot find any except ONE store! Yes, a STOCK L96 IS accurate, but after firing over 100 shots, it WILL deteriate rapidly even especially the trigger box, made of plastic. And you WILL loose velocity rapidly also, because the spring will loose its tension, thus loosing velocity. The inner barrel is made of cheap brass.

  • If anyone has any problems with their Maruzen Type 96, Mauser SR, WELL, or UTG L96 sniper rifle, or thinking of UP-GRADING, contact me here, or send me a personal messgae.
