  • Persia is Awesome!

  • Informative

  • i love this, they're really soulful people, such a wonderful place, thank you for sharing. And now we know where most the brains are, Persia! Algebra, decimal system, architecture, philosophy, spirituality, what don't these people tackle, such a thirst for knowledge, incredible!

  • How is this the first world epire? Just like World baseball, its only played in U.S.A. A world empire, its a bloody big planet! What needs to be discussed is the fact that doco's confuse history. The Aboriginals have been in Australia for 80,000 years, I dont know of an Iranian flag over Australia.

  • the real Iranian origin is from south Mongolia their faces , they got so many things from the sumarians in Iraq to develope their civilization even the zekorat .

  • I dont always rock out. But when I do, I watch Iran documentaries.

  • watch?v=1FGnbWoSlTg&feature=channel_video_title

  • Good Video but biased. They gloss over the mathematics and arts contribution of east such as India. It gave them the numerals but they play it off like persians created it and gave it to europe.

Also, the lost wax technique of the Elamites is still very alive among dravidians in south asia. They use to produce the Nataraja statues still. Linguist McAlpin has suggested a link between languages of dravidians n Elamites. In fact the name for Sri-Lanka in tamil is Eelam.

  • @Jocjabes

they gloss over alot of things because its such a short documentary, i would love to see a more in depth documentary by the same makers as this one. as far as your india comment goes, this documentery isn't about india, its about persia. and they never said that the pesians invented the decimal system, it said that they introduced the system to europe. your comments about the elamites are somewhat interesting, yet irrelevant to this film.

  • Master Race = Persians

  • I thought Cyrus was the one that made the Persian empire huge not Darius the Great???

  • WE never welcomed Islam

  • @Imperialpsalm Why, i wonder, this period was called The Golden Age of Persia?

  • @Imperialpsalm Actually, you did. Just read the book by Iranian scholar Homa Katouzian entitled, "The Persians: Ancient, Medieval, and Modern Iran". The Persians welcomed the Rashidun conquest of their land, for they were given greater freedom under the early Muslim rulers - indeed, the Persians maintained their cultural and religious traditions (it took them centuries to convert to Islam). With the rise of the Ummayads, however, anti-Arab sentiment grew, not anti-Islamic sentiment.

  • Down with the US Military-Industrial Complex. Down with the apartheid Zionist military outpost of the US+Western Military-Industrial Complex in the occupied Palestine, established in 1948 through genocide, ethnic cleansing & mass expulsion of the non-Jewish native population (90-95% of total population in 1948) & their replacement with European Settlers. Long Live the Islamic Republic of Iran and the unity of Muslim nations from Bosnia and Morocco to Indonesia and Kirgizestan.

  • @ARDESHIRAN I am no fan of the USA or Zionist Israel but The mullahs have ruined Iran, Pakistan and Afghanistan. Secular cultures have much their favour going for them. The Persians have much to be prooud of. Just get rid of the Ayatollahs !Please!

  • @ARDESHIRAN uhh no one cares what you have to say. Get out of here.
