Unfortunately the hospital usually can't do much for these! I live in Indiana and have been bitten over a dozen times. Mainly, you need to let it run it's course until you can rip off the scab and squeeze out the puss/poison such as this guy did. People react differently to the spider bites and I was fortunate not to have one this bad but they are painful and feel like being shot with a bullet!
