@onepoundpull thats the same thing my cousin told me. Chevys 350s are cheaper to build and buy parts for makes a lotta since. Fords have a longer stroke for more torque though. Thats a pretty cool car. Ford rear end the best. Ford tough. I like Chevys too lol. My buddy and I used to run around in his 67 Camaro in high school and it was a pretty quick car we had loads of fun in that car. I worked on my 67 Ford Mustang with a 302 and the distributor was in the front very convenient.
@shartne and that's why I'm putting a 400 small block chevy in my 29 roadster. Fords may have the torque, but in a 1200 lb car, who needs torque? Give me rev's and top end.
why do people put chevy 350 s in these cool fords? why not a 351 boss or boss 302 or a 429 cobra jet?????

@shartne because ford engines are a bitch to work on, nothing fits, nothing works and chevys are so much cheaper, easier to fit.
