  • it is interesting that John Coltrane, one of the most influential jazz musicians, reportedly never criticized other musicians. during his regrettably brief lifetime.

I have had the opportunity to hear many of the great trumpeters, including Miles, Lee Morgan and Freddie Hubbard, to name a few. Jazz appreciation is impacted by personal sensibilities. For my own sensibility, Till Bronner has a very warm and intimate sound, coupled with interesting phrasing. Bill Honer, Costa Rica

  • In response to guy that said that he can't play: you see if you can as much feeling into your sound as he does. I think you'll you can't.

  • Sorry..but he can play !!! YES !! Hp

  • bronner has a warm sound and excellent phrasing.Wes Montomery's "Bumpin" is a hauntingly beautiful tune that permits a wide range of emotional exploration; bronnner achieves what all great jazz artists do-he tells us a story that is worth hearing.
