it is interesting that John Coltrane, one of the most influential jazz musicians, reportedly never criticized other musicians. during his regrettably brief lifetime.
I have had the opportunity to hear many of the great trumpeters, including Miles, Lee Morgan and Freddie Hubbard, to name a few. Jazz appreciation is impacted by personal sensibilities. For my own sensibility, Till Bronner has a very warm and intimate sound, coupled with interesting phrasing. Bill Honer, Costa Rica

Oh no!!! This man thinks he can play trumpet? Why? Look to national and international festivals and clubs- he will never reach the class of Hargrove, Brecker, Sandoval, Marsalis, Davis, Hardenberger, Brockhoff, Helseth or many others. Seems like a product of a high diference between self-image and jazz-quality. Wrong investment!

bronner has a warm sound and excellent phrasing.Wes Montomery's "Bumpin" is a hauntingly beautiful tune that permits a wide range of emotional exploration; bronnner achieves what all great jazz artists do-he tells us a story that is worth hearing.
