  • Judy the big star for ever! thanx

  • The Judy I love will always exist. Very few reach these heights very few exceed the world exexctations. Judy did all of that and more

  • I heard Judy is doing 5 shows a night up in Heaven

    S.R.O. rest in Peace Frances.......

  • Was this really taken from the last concert? How can we be sure?

  • @fountainhead01 Nope not even close. This was actually from ''Judy at Carnegie Hall'' April 23,1961.

  • Judy, darling, may you rest in peace. • Judy, YOU ROCKED! Rest in peace darling!

  • music from those times was the best in my opinion....that s why it lives on and on,...masters like judy or frank sinatra achieved their immortality because they've put heart in what they made and most of the artists now are making music as to make a money, music has became meaningless in my perpective maybe just with one or two exceptions celine dion ,shania twain but if you look at the others and when i say others i mean to new artists like bieber or miley ...i get a feeling that it s not full

  • We love you Judy always and forever !!!

  • wow, you can actually hear how glad she is that she'll never have to sing it again.

  • Greatist female voice ever. Meet me in St. Louis on the trolley. Ding Ding goes the trolley

  • Greatist female voice ever. Meet me in St. Louis on the trolley.

  • greatist female singer ever

  • loved you my life, greatest voice ever

  • The story of Judy Garland goes to show that image meant a lot even in the 30s. Society tells us that we have to look and act a certain way. Why is it that the best talent, from Mozart to Hendrix to Garland to Allman to Cobain all have to die so young. Is it the pressure that society brings? Music like this lasts forever. Talent like this lasts forever. And coming from a guy who listens to metal music this means a lot. Music should be based on music, not image. Current Pop= pathetic

  • Oh gosh, this is so touching. I'm only seventeen, but I adore this lady, and miss her talent from the world even though I wasn't around to see it first hand. She is wonderful, and the contrast between this version and the original is heartbreaking. True legend.

  • @ElphabaEmerald182 I don't even know the names of the young singers today. I look at their naked bodies ( Lady Gaga?) and the voices behind them and the overly made up faces and it sickens me., Really. I am now in my 70's and have never bought an albumn or even one record from any so called singers. Such a shame

  • Wonderful.

  • I actually love the desperation in her voice in this version... This song is very telling of an adult woman struggling with life and hollywood and it speaks volumes as to that she just wanted to be away from everything.. In the original it was about a young girl who just wanted to be happier .. believeable but THIS version is raw and I love it.. I love judy as an inspiration to artists everywhere She will forever be missed and loved ... A Fan always...

  • this truly makes me sad, its so completely different from the original, and you can hear how she's aged and her perspective on life has changed

    :(

  • Love her! xxx

  • why did you have to die? :(

  • Look at the picture of this lovely woman... and then remember that her problems stemmed from people telling her she was fat and ugly...

What a fucking world we live in. Why couldn't the talent -- that awesome talent -- have been enough? Shame on the people who tortured this woman, and shame on her show business parents who loaded her with pills when she was in elementary school.

    What a world this is......

Thank you, Ms. Garland, for sharing your gift, and bless you.

  • @wolfwilliams you are right on!! but this is the same bunch that chooses our country to turn to socialism...the same thing we fought against in ww2

people are clueless...just honor God, treat your family and friends right...and let these jerks find out later their reward......thank you for your honest post it was something more americans need to hear if we are to straighten out this mess.

  • makes you want to kill those bastards at MGM and her manager.

  • I kno.MGM murdered her

  • @SweeneyTodd98 accually...without M.G.M. there would be no "judy garland"...it was her mother that started her on pills

  • @thewzrdofoz yeah but it as the mgm ppl who said she was fat and ugly and gave her even more pills

  • @SweeneyTodd98 they also tried to get her off them

  • I can hear her get more depressed. I can hear her sadness. I can feel it. In her Wizard of Oz performance, she was happier. Not the happiest soul on Earth, but she was still happier than this. She really wanted this escape that she was singing of.

  • I completely agree.I cried when i heard this because of the deep sadness within her.

  • damn why do i feel bad wen i hear this? is a guy suppose to feel like this?

  • @MOY025 Why do you say that? Is the fact that men have feelings something new?

  • @DarkBellatrix umm?

  • @MOY025 lol?? =D

  • @MOY025 shut up then

  • @DarkBellatrix um you shut up. idk what you're talking about. and i don't really care, i was just here to enjoy this marvelous song, then you just argue with me? meh whatever.

  • i loveeeeeeeeee

  • dang. depressing!

  • I will always love you Judy.

  • She was beautiful...inside and out. I was reading how the MGM machine made her feel like she was the ugly duckling. How they other little starlets where better looking. How many of them carry the same star power she has, to this day? She had something they didn't have...beauty AND talent.

  • Sou apaixonado por ela.

  • "Somewhere over the rainbow, bluebirds fly."

"If happy little bluebirds fly.....beyond the rainbow...why, oh, why, can't I?"

Judy Garland was one of the most beautiful and spirited actresses/singers. Hearing her last ever performance, last ever song, last ever applause, it is chilling. But I know that she is over the rainbow now, singing her heart out to God.

  • She just sang the song with her life!!!

  • The voice that me cry!

  • What a wonderful great woman she was.

  • It's very heart wrenching to hear but I am compelled to listen, she still had it up until the end.

  • Roses are red,

    Violets are blue,

    You made a big difference,

    And eternally we'll love you.

Judy, you were my best friend from 1939-1969. I treasure the moments we shared for those unforgetful thirty years. Liza told me at your funeral when I sat by her, you are like my second father, and I love having you in my life. We still talk and I wish the best for Liza. Judy is in heaven now singing her heart out to God. Rest in Peace Judy.

  • May God bless and save her soul---such an angelic voice! RIP Judy Garland--you earned your angel wings!

  • when she sang she sang for each and every one of us..she could take u to a place in your thoughts that was always good..when she look into the camera she sang every note just for u..no one today can touch her talent..

  • she still gave it her all.

  • WOW! To know this was the last time she sang this in concert, very chilling. Jud is one of the greatest there is. I'd love to seen her in concert but, I was born in '71. First saw her in Wizard of Oz (of course). Then I saw a special on PBS of her, that's all it took for me to be hooked. To watch her on stage was AMAZING. She had the audience in her hand. Never has been another like her, never will be. R.I.P. Judy.

  • this is so sad judys kids must be so strong to still be doing their things still, Hugs to judys kids and grandkids, hell i need a hug now. but thanks Judy for the Music. your still the best. thanks so much

  • Judy Garland was a beautiful person with a beautiful voice. When she was dorthy the producers called her fat and put her on pills so she would be skinner and thats how she got addicated to drugs. Thats also how she became an achoholic. I think on this perfomance she knew she was dying and thats why their is so much heart in this song! REST IN PEACE JUDY. HOPE UR LOVED IN HEAVEN AS MUCH AS YOU ARE HERE ON EARTH!

  • No... she became an alcoholic because one of her husbands were.

  • i saw in a documentary that she took this since she was 13...

  • Well i have to disagree with what you have said..this was the first time the copenhagan audience saw her live..they only reconised her as dorothy..so hence forth she would of not said that to the audience...maybe alittle paranoid back stage..but that was Judy needing constant reassurence..but by god she delivered on the stage, come rain or shine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Judy was th greatest singer ever! Now that she is over the rainbow, I hope she never has to hurt again. An angel and the largest talent this world has seen.

  • this is lovely

  • when jsu d was in front of her fans who loved her she was never depressed onyl when she was by her self

  • Yes, It´s true...

  • Today Judy Up in Heaven Entertaining everyone

  • @stevecurwin judy was never depressed. she was a very happy person, all the media made everyone think she was depressed and lonely and sad. but supposedly she was the happiest in front of her audiences
