got a question!! in 82 they had a piano player called morgan fisher or so! and on "the bowl" brian didnt play piano 2 only in montreal and montreal was in 81!
@rogertaylorNr1 Good observation. I personally don't know the answer, I only heard from Queenzone that it was Brian who was playing the piano. But you could be right. ^^
Just watched the clip of Save Me from Milton Keynes, They don't show him playing the piano, but at the first chorus he is leaving the area of the Piano, so my guess is Brian played Piano in the intro.
BRIAN ALWAYS PLAYED THE START OF SAVE ME,AS IT WAS HIS SONG. MORGAN FISHER AND SPIKE EDNEY, FRED MANDLE. PLAYED THE SYNTH,S IN THE BACKGROUND. DEPENDING ON FREDS MOOD MAYBE ONE NGT HE WOULD HAVE PULLED ONE OF THEM OUT. AND MAKE THEM SIT ON THE PIANO JUST FOR A BIT OF FUN, WITH THE LIKES OF CRAZY LITTLE THING.BUT NO THEY WOULD NOT OF PLAYED SAVE ME.BRIAN LEAPS FROM THE PIANO INTO GUITAR.
In the song the piano starts when Freddie starts to sing... I think Brian did that small intro but then he didn't start when Freddie started to sing...
So in Rock Montreal you can see Freddie come close to Brian to start in the right way.
To me it sounds like Brian started off the piano expecting Fred to join in as usual, instead Fred says "Oh I like that". I guess Brian was puzzled...also you can only keep your fingers in the ready position for so long lol Got to love the guys..they seemed to have a ball most nights.
The Brian cam at Wembley on One Vision...he takes the piss out of Fred when he says "when I was young.." and laughs at his own vocal piece. Of course there is the famous Fred "You caught me out" in bites the dust
No probs. I like the Fred cam on Under Pressure to, especially as he walks on the platform behind Roger towards the end of the song, you can see his expression as he sings it.
I often find it uncanny when Roger and he sings chorus's together, their voices so close sometimes it is hard to pick out who is who? I people think Rogers voice is to rasping for lead vocals...but there is no doubt he compliments Fred excellently :)
hahhahahaha, I love him :D

Very good, 'though, I'm not quite sure Brian made a mistake.
Have the impression, that mistake came from Freddie himself.

No, Brian wasn't playing the piano when Freddie was singing. Brian plays the piano in this number.

Thanks for the especially dedicated cams from Wembley show you indicated above.
It was an enormous pleasure to see Roger and John playing their instrument during all the period of a music.
