  • boring.....

  • Fanfastic mimicry but....to quote Mossadegh is rather inadequate. Such a pretender that minister!

  • AHMEDINEJAD does not speak English lol

  • well, I think he looks pretty much like Pavarotti not Ahmedi nejad :)

  • THE AHMEDINEJAD WANTS ONE WORLDWIDE GOVERMENT

  • GOD SHAVE THE AHMEDINEJAD

  • ha ha like the way he turns into Blair at the end

  • ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

  • Amazing.

Speaking as a US citizen I have a hard time imagining him being shown here. You know, because we take freedom of speech so seriously.

  • @fraskydingy He's prime time here. Never missed an episode since 2005, I was too young to understand most of it, but if it weren't for Bremner the vast majority of the youth would not have put 2 and 2 together about their bullshit politicians! They are ALL the same no matter what country you hail from!

  • this 2.5 min clip shows up more succinctly and cogently the gross hypocrisy and duplicity of uk (us) etc the transition from ahmedinejad to blair was p'haps the most chilling (and telling) part of this sketch.

its blatently clear to those who can see that the likes of blair (substitue cameron now) and his ilk are far more dangerous to world security than the purported "madmen"

as per usual r bremner - spot on

  • nuclear weapon = a must have accessory :) absolutely true they've got their right to have a nuclear weapon, who or what the hell gives usa exclusivity for weapon of mass destruction, we better wake up and stop our lazy lives put aside all the fast food and all the entertaining shows on telly before it's too late, we don't realise how vulnerable all this is until we it's too late, I must agree with george carlin that there is no hope for our civilisation and at the end it will collapse :)

  • @sokaq because when the USA uses nuclear weapons to kill hundreds of thousands of civilians (and they are the only nation ever to have done so), it's OK because they're committing mass murder in the name of freedom and democracy

  • He rather resembles Slavoj Zizek.

    : ]]]]

  • Ah the hypocrisy of British-US foreign policy.

    Beautifully illustrated.

  • LOVE IT

    ahmadinejan is my hero

  • pulsar ur havin a joke arnt you i see 11 yr olds 12 yr old with children in cities in uk yes they are deprived areas but they are there

  • sail? wut i meant Jail ;)

  • what's the legal age of consent for sex in Iran?

  • Iran: women at 14 and men at 17

those ages varie from 12 to 21 among different nations

and in the U.S the legal age even varies with different states(16-18)

"only 14!" well that age is the same in Australia and Canada ;)

    try Saudi Arabia(your allies? :p)

sex is legal only if you are married, gay sex and alcholol is illegal and there is no voting ;)

  • So a 14 year old can have it with older men..? This is where it's all wrong.

It's not really socially acceptabe in the UK, but some 16 year olds do with much older men. At the tender age of 14 it would be damaging psychologically and emotionally.

What's wrong with only having sex in marriage?

  • Well i dont know if it would be damaging psychologically or emotionaly in the right conditions but i wouldnt want my daughter having sex at that age :D

what's wrong with only having sex in marriage, well dont you think it's abit stupid to throw mature men and women for sail for sleeping together without being married?

  • Only in a marital framework can this highly intimate act be meaningful and be an expression of love and caring-for the eventual production of children.

Otherwise it's empty and the woman feels used and hates the man for it. This is why women hate men so much and have all these psychological problems trying to be as good and like men. They're losing their feminity.

  • To which Iran replies : "Consent?"

  • This is where it gets dangerous to have that sort of thing taking root in your country...

  • Even though you are making fun of him, everything you said is true.

  • rory..... your a comic genious:)

  • i h8 dis wahz de point...leave persianz man !!!!!

  • " Okay I'll stand on the box "

  • Actually, he has done impressions of Tony BLair and George Bush :)

Why do you think he is a jerk?

  • What? He has been doing Major, Blair and Brown for years!

  • he does. Consistently

  • you've obviously never watched him on tv. Blair and Bush get the piss ripped out of them by him.

  • Excuse me... But what about the other presidents? I think western ones must be more more funny! Ahmadinejad is a representative for more than 50 million people... He is so conjuncted to the Iranian hypocritical culture! People can change... ;)

  • If you are Iranian be very happy. It was mercilessly mocking British hypocrisy. And Tony Blair. :-)

  • @PSmithFortyTwo I think most Iranians would be happy with Ahmadinejad just being mocked.

  • In reality Ahmedinejhad is well educated. If wanna look quickly just skim it on wikipedia/

  • BRILLIANT ...BRAVO

  • He should've just kept doing Ahmedinejad and just done the Blair impression on top of it.

  • That was added for the irony-impaired.

  • 02:00 It's just brilliant when go's from Ahmedinejad to Tony Blair!

  • Not that funny, Bremner is funnier than this normally.

  • Ahmedinejad turning into Blair is clever - shows the hypocrisy of the Blair and western demands on Iran. The main problem with this sketch is that it's promoting that neo-con lie that Iran is trying to create nuclear weapons (and thus should be invaded/ attacked). Ahmedinejad has only ever said that Iran wants to develop nuclear power. They've always denied a desire for nuclear weapons and there's no evidence that nuclear weapons are being created. This sketch reinforces the neo-con war agenda.

  • dez, it's unfortunate that you have swallowed all of Washington's neo-conservative propaganda. And the only reason they are interested in Iran is because of it's vast oil resources, funnily enough, just like Iraq. The US is just looking for a pretext to invade Iran. Outside observers have checked Iran's nuclear facilities and confirmed they are not producing weapons. I guess you've forgotten the WMD lies about Iraq before that poor country was invaded too.

  • Ah the holocust thing again! The attacks on Hiroshima and Nagasaki were also a form of holocust, were they not? What is happening in Gaza is the same thing that happened in Warsaw 1944.

First they built a wall, thus they isolated the citizens from the rest of the world, then they let them starve and blew them up, or shot them whenever they wished! Ah but the Germans did not have the technology that is available today.

  • The Palestinian Arabs were accomplices. Their leader, The Mufti of Jerusalem was a personal friend of Hitler and had his own plans to build a death camp in Nablus had the Nazis broken through in the Soviet Union.Read history as it is not Islamic propaganda.

  • The founder of the Likud, Vladimir Jabotinsky, wrote fan mail to Hitler asking him to drop his anti semitism so that they could work together. Jabotinsk was called Vladimir Hitler by David Ben Gurion. Ie there are Hitler fans both here and there...

  • The idea that a loony religous state should have the tools to be able to make a nuke is enough. Iran needs sorting and I bet my left bollock that the Isrealies flatten the nuclear facilities some time soon. When we have finished with Iraq and Afgahnistan, Iran should be next.

  • The only loony states are the UK and USA under the current idiot administrations, who have already led us into one illegal war based on lies about WMD. The only reason for invading Iraq was oil. The only reason the US wants to invade Iran (and yes, the UK does not support military action on Iran) is for its very large oil reserves.

  • i couldnt care less why when or whatever. i personally think islamic states shouldnt have nukes and would support my government in any action taken to rid any state driven by religion, of the potential to produce nuclear weapons. Illegal war? Says who? I dont see monkey-boy bush or his lapdog blaire spending any time in jail.

  • I gotta agree with you though, the war in Iraq was never about WMD's, it was about oil and the balance of power in the middle east, also Iraq is an ideal platform to launch a ground offensive against Iran. Once Iraq has died down, we are gonna need something to watch on telly after all :)

  • And after Iran?

  • As you, largeblerk, so ardently desire to sort this world out by the means of yet another invasion I suggest you enlist asap! :) They need spirited fellows like yourself, especially as there is no victory on the horizon neither in Afghanistan nor in Iraq.

For that reason I wouldn't recommend "betting your left buttock" on Israelis dismantling their nuclear facilities "some time soon". Or at any time at all for that matter. A soldier without a brain is OK, but a soldier without an arse... hmmm

  • aaah Haaa ha ha ha aaah!funny

  • Oops, sorry, I see that its your BOLLOCK that you wish to bet, largeblerk! Go ahead then, perhaps The Darwin Award might be yours one day.

  • you like soldiers arses? fair enough everyone to their own and all that eh. I did inlist years ago, did the gulf war in 91 and enjoyed watching gulf war 2 on the telly. and as for iran, regardless of what you think mate, the israelies have a history in destroying nuclear facilities belonging to their neighbours, iraq built one, they destroyed it, syria built one, or a bread factory or whatever, they destroyed it. iran have now built one. anyone taking bets on the date its destroyed?

  • "Enjoyed watching gulf war 2 on the telly" did you? Any favourites amongst one million of violent deaths of civilians? Did you like the killings, abuse, torture and sodomy in Abu Ghraib? That should teach them the ways of the civilised world!

"You treat the Third World in the way an Iraqi peasant treats his new bride. Three days of honeymoon, and then it's off to the fields." What honeymoon, Saddam? Off to the oil-fields!

  • i really enjoyed watching gulf 2. who cares who died, it makes good telly.

  • as did schindlers list. Was actually cheering at some points!

  • eah?

  • @thebestrubbishseller weren't the culprits at Abu Ghraib court marshalled and imprisoned?

  • Israelis indeed have a history. Yapping about non-proliferation of nuclear weapon amongst loony states, for a second I thought you were talking about Israelis flattening THEIR OWN nuclear facilities. What is that? They also have biological warfare capabilities?! And chemical too?!! Wow! Why would any of their neighbours NOT feel safe?

  • well i got plenty of balls so no problem.

  • Yes, that is exactly true, "Oclandestin" about Bremner reinforcing that untrue point, although at the same time, it does bring up another point about a desire for defence which could perhaps be better applied to North Korea.

  • fuck you

  • pretty crap this one from bremner, if he had any guts he would have taken the piss out of dinnerjacket for his holocaust deniers conference

instead it was just a feeble stab a blair

  • Rory BREMNER is mazing, i love most of the things he does, but here he really really sucks and got his facts wrong!

  • this is arabic accent, and ahmadinejad is not arab.

  • That way they say "Hey Ahmedinejad we need some of your energy reserves" I say "sure", we put some on warhead attach to very big rocket and send it to you airway! lol you just cant write this stuff. Too good!

  • .....keep the change!

  • you're a moron.

    Define Aryan you ignorant prick.

  • very funny, and very pointed!

it's worth remembering, of course, that iran says it only wishes to develop PEACEFUL nuclear technology, not weapons; there are important economic reasons for this: "washington-based pfc energy recently reported that iran's oil production is declining by 500,000 b/d per year, and without drastic changes, it will become a net importer of oil by 2016" (w. clark)...

  • also, no evidence has been produced that iran is developing nuclear weapons. so, in effect, iran is being punished, through sanctions, for trying to develop civilian nuclear power, which it has an internationally recognized legal right to under the npt (article 4.1), as does every country.

  • i love this guy

    truth teller

  • Although Ahmadinejad, the monkey president, is an idiot and I abhor him, this imitation is really bad and sucks ass. The accent is anything but Iranian... Iranians have a much funnier and SOFTER accent when they speak English and it doesn't sound like this.

But hey, what do u expect? When ppl think Iranians are a bunch of Arabs and that Iran = Iraq then you might have this erroneous misrepresentation of how English with an Iranian accent sounds like.

  • lol spare us your daft comments please, this isnt your calciendo imitation show, its a late night satirical program, which i am certain is far too intelectual for your kind.

  • OW, did I hurt your feelings?

"Spare us your dumb comment, plz!

I'm Iranian and this dude doesn't have an Iranian accent when he speaks Persian. I simply stated that it could have been funnier if he had a genuine accent. If that was to difficult for your "subtle" "aristocratic" brain to consider, then I'm too "Intellectual for your kind"

PS: learn how to spell in your own language b4 cursing on others

  • as i stated earlier , i wouldn't expect you to grasp the contents of the clip as it exceeds your intellectual capacity, the essence was on the sketch rather than the humour my love, there is a point being made unfortunately all you're looking for is a cheap laugh, try watching the simpsons ;-)that might meet your funny criteria.I am sorry if you think i was cursing earlier, its called constructive criticism.

PS the gentleman isnt speaking persian is he?

  • Marmary! You are a genius. You actually can use the English language better than most English people. I'm being truthful. Don't listen to that sixxpaccUK yob, he's just a typical BNP chav with no life.

  • dragon

thanx for the support mate =0)

  • ur point is good and i agree. But i dont think bremner is trying to be racist. thats not his thing, he pokes more fun at the west which is fair enough. peace out.

  • my comment was for u. I agree with you but don't think bremner is racist, i think he is trying to poke more fun at the west which is fair enough. u r right though, his accent is utterly shit!! but i don't think he means to insult iranians- just americans and british. take care. kudos.

  • he's using arab accented english that even sounds a bit scottish

  • good point. Why is Israel in eurovision contest ? i dnt get it.. they in arab land..

  • They Isreal is in Isreali land. Stop the hate.

  • Wow I butchered that sentence. But you probably get the gist. :)

  • I dont know what your evidence for that is chris bord when the USA is the only state to have ever used a nuclear weapon on another state

  • Maybe the fact that we only used it to end a war and prevent far greater casualties that would have occured otherwise? And that we have never used them since?

  • Ah Rory makeing fun of my President.

    How brilliant^^

  • Have you ever heard of MAD?

  • Mutually Assured Destruction

  • Damn I'm jealous o' you Brits. What creative programming! Well... I live in America, the land of the free. I'll probably get arrested for watching this. I feel like a whore.

  • Hell, it's not that bad in America, we have Stephen Colbert. He ripped up the President real good at the White House Correspondent's Dinner. That took some serious balls. America is still a free country, I don't know for how long. Until the day that Stephen gets kicked off the air.

  • Like Prez Bush, and Colbert too. :)

  • Stephen Colbert's bit at the Dinner was good, but he was only there because he was invited, in an effort to make it look as though the White House didn't take themselves too seriously. Colbert was effectively the court jester - a spin puppet for the administration. Satire has no power when the anger it inspires is allowed to die.

  • Cheers to the fucktards in charge all over.

  • And their masters! Hip Hip Hurrah!

  • we have the right to defend ourselves, we have the right to wear 1970 zipup bloosers haha

  • "OK. I'll stand on the box" lol when he changes over to Blair in the middle of the speech that was clever.

  • LOL at all throses who can't/won't see the point of this scheck

  • LOL Ahmedinejad is a fool!

  • you're a fucking tard. He's making fun of the Western attitude towards Iran. See the similarities? Or are you too stupid?

  • I think you are the stupid one!

  • BlckComb,

    Ahem.....WTF?

  • wow, how profound. The whole point of this is to show the double standards for the West when it comes to so-called "self-defence" and those who the west sees as enemies.

  • your wrong, the whole point of this is....its satire, a joke if people dont get it fuck em

  • your wrong, the whole point of this is....its satire, a joke if people dont get it fuck em

  • Dunno why people seem to be having a problem with this, it makes the very valid point about nuclear armament and what happened in Iraq when there were no weapons! Another wry parody for Bremner.

  • ahmedinejat I am sorry I wasn't write this I am wrong

  • BIG up to ahmedinejad

  • You are the very definition of 'Useful Fool.'

  • Wait, did you mean that sarcastically? If so, sorry I take it back. :)

  • abi yanlış anlaşıldım ahmedinejat bunları becersin demek istedim

  • What a huge blow to English humor...

  • Shame it's true.

  • That made me vomit, absolutely not funny.

ive seen funnier things on the treehouse channel

  • Sorry its not a fart joke.

  • way, way below bremner's usual standards. accent is absolutely all over the place

  • stupid ahmedinejad fuck you prostitue

  • ulan kafir piç allahsiz seni nasil konusyursun

  • a.q amerikalısı puştu ingilizi sen kimle dalga geçiyon

  • As far as comedy goes, this is brilliant.

  • MAN this is so funny

  • Haha, very good Rory.

  • This guy has not read history. Mosadeq held and election and got 99.9 percent of the votes. Had he held a legitimate election and gotten 51% of the votes he would have remained in power...

  • The transformation into tony blair was just a work of genius, but don't anybody think that I've lost my view of the political issues here.

  • good comedian, have seen better sketches, he should have researched Ahmadinejad a bit more, he sounds a cross between an Indian and an Arab, even geographically he'd be somewhere in Pakistan!

  • absolute genius!

  • Since when is Ahmedinejad fucking Yiddish?

  • That's part of the joke.

  • Winston2004 you think "like a monkey", and it's too bad our tax dollars are paying for it. Since that's all you had to say, I'll observe that you did not wish to challenge the issues involved.

  • Ahmadinejad (I'MMADINJIHAD) looks like an ugly monkey

  • yes he does and he's renamed Monkey president by us Iranians. He's awfully ugly, the very definition of ugliness in the outside as well as the rotten inside.

    we hate his guts

  • This is more like Castro than AhmadiNejad, I am beginning to think that you westerners have really no understanding of Mahmoood (Ahmadinejad)

  • If we did do you think that we'd be in the situation we're in?

  • what a lovely argument...mblowell...those arguments are to me quite funny. You say state controled iranian press...but if u would visit a country outside of the U.S. u might acutally find out that the private owned american media is not a bit better. It is devastating to see what kind of mind manipulating power the tv has become in the states. Without it, things like Bush would maybe have never happened.

  • Im british and i know exactly how the american media works, if its bad for business it does not get shown. Everybody knows that bush cheated, he should not be president and i have met more intelligent grapes. so please dont assume im an american republican looking for world oil domination.

  • 2. why be rude and say the arguments are funny. Just because u may not like them does not mean u have to insult me. and three The whole situation has been used as a PR stunt by a regime in crisis. thankyou

  • 3. It seems that my #3 is missing. here it is again:

    3. Let's rephrase your last statement about Iran and see whether it'd match United States:

--United States-- "is a self isolating, dangerous force whose government is loosing support at home"

  • ahmadinejad is better than you and more fool.he is more funny than you

  • Funny, and at the same time, very sad and devastating, that some nations (such as UK or US) develop new generations of nuclear weapons. While there has been no evidence of any sort that proves their allegation that Iran is producing nuclear weapons (or is moving towards that path), the aforementioned nuclear nations bluntly threaten Iran with a nuclear attack (and their newly developed nuclear bunker busters).

    Funny, but sad.

  • you are joking right?

  • Funny, and at the same time, very sad and devastating, that some nations (such as UK or US) develop new generations of nuclear weapons. While there has been no evidence of any sort that proves their allegation that Iran is producing nuclear weapons (or is moving towards that path), the aforementioned nuclear nations bluntly threaten Iran with a nuclear attack (and their newly developed nuclear bunker busters).

    Funny, but sad.

  • Surely the kidnapping of british troops by the (oil rich but needs nuclear power bs)iran shows that maybe they might be a dangerous force. Even though the UK and The US are completely hipocritical seem to love waging unjust wars your nievety is almost disturbing. Iran is a self isolating, dangerous force thats government is loosing support at home so feels it needs to use war to unite the people in support of this terrorist regime.

  • Dear mblowell,

Few points for you to ponder about:

    1. "oil rich but needs nuclear power"?? Iran's oil will last only few decades. Even now, (while it still has oil), Iran is a net importer of gas. Go read some articles about it. Specially don't allow others to make conclusions for you.... continued....

  • 2. Although it is easy to call it "kidnapping", it seems that those British troops illegally entered Iran's waters in the Persian Gulf. Since those British troops were not allowed/invited to enter Iran, their capture cannot be called kidnapping. On the contrary, the Iranians in Iran's consulate in Irbil (Iraq) were officially invited to Iraq. Their capture, in my opinion, is "kidnapping". What do you think? If you are a critic of hypocrisy, you will probably agree with me.. continued..

  • Only the state controlled iranian press agency is agreeing with that actually, i think you should look at the situation, and iran with an open mind and not such an anti western tint. I agree with you that the current governments of blair and bush are terrible and need to be got rid of but i am pretty certain that Iran is a larger danger to the world.

  • one more comment under iranian claims the british were 500 meters within their territory thats less than a 3rd of a mile and takes 60 seconds to sprint, what kind of justification is that for 13 days of detention when in reality they could have simply been escorted over the 500 meters away border which they were actually 1.7 miles inside.

  • those 13 days are nothing compared to those the US has locked up for YEARS. bfd...those brits are lucky to be free. much luckier than the thousands doing time with no hope of any kind of fair trial.

  • 4. By the way, you can label Iran as a terrorist regime if you want. Iran supports Hezbollah and other sh-t groups that I don't like, but are heroes in the Muslim world (and not terrorists). United States recognizes the MeK as a terrorist organization, and yet supports it. So much for "global sponsor of terrorism" labeler!

  • 2. after all they hosted a confrence saying the holocaust never happened. please Dont take this personally I'm sure you are a very nice person and you are entitled to your views, which some i think i would agree with, but on this my friend i fear we'll never agree.

  • The conference wasn't held to deny the holocaust, but to investigate the accuracy of an event often used as political justification. Denying the holocaust is unforgivable, but questioning its accuracy is as legitimate as asking whether Islam really is a religion of peace or not, or was 9/11 an inside job. Earlier scholars were villified for questioning if the world was really flat and in the centre of the universe. Lets not repeat history by demonising these 'conspiracy theorists'.

  • one word - bollocks
