  • For those who asked: the latest report from the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), states 50 min.s of moderate intensity exercise are needed 5 days a week to lose weight. I'm sure this won't apply to anyone, as everyone's metabolism is different.

    The idea is exercising makes you hungry and so you end up eating to compensate for calories burned exercising. So you need more overall activity to counteract that tendency (to keep the metabolism up).

  • Is there a certain speed or heart rate u have to reach to lose weight?

  • walk on a incline. you will lose weight. i did!

  • I haven't seen much benefits with power walking on the treadmill! 2 weeks of 30 minute + exercises...and I lost 2 pounds! not much of a change!
