I like the tempo. My college madrigal performed this at about the same tempo, but without the elongated ritards. Too fast and it sounds messy. The listener also does not have the opportunity to appreciate the weaving in and out of the parts.
They bark the quarter note values when singing the text. The La's degenerate into Luh's at times, but not as bad as some choirs. Slowing down on notes that have already been given dramatically longer values is not the way to go. The composer, put it in already.

Nice understanding of the melody and rhythm, but too slow, and too romantic. It's not Brahms, for Christ's sake!

The sopranos really need to project. They don't have nearly enough sound and the melody just got lost through out most of the song.
The altos are strong as are the men.
It was a bit pitchy in spots, as well.
