The track was the brainchild of a good mate, and cost about $100 in materials.

Really looks like so. Wish I had a track like this, so hard to get a proper mini rc drifting track at home!

RCP tracks just don't cut it well... one needs an abs or pvc both cases very rigid plastic so the car doesn't stop slidding when one brakes to the fullest... now that is really cool physics...
