You are putting words where there are not, try not to add nor take away from the bible and state it as gospel. I have to wonder if you are doing it on purpose, because that verse which you quoted is taken while "the dragon" is about to be judged, how can he be ruling in hell when he has not yet been judged? That verse is prophesy, it has not yet happened.

@NyRamsey Well, rather than parce the words of the bible, we'll assume that he wasn't ironically sent to hell to "be as God". He was just cast out of Heaven. The subtlety here would be assuming that God is not perfect, and had no clue that Satan/Lucifer would eventually be doing just that. The bible, of course, speaks of God's perfection, which would be paradoxical.
