  • The earth is the earth it's not going away. Meaning that the total mass of things just shifts from one thing to another in continuum. So from begining to now all things regenerate. So worring about such small thing is so stupid! They'll be rust dust in days.

  • $7 at ThinkGeek

  • my mind=blown

  • pull harder.

  • @ToeKnee0126 If you pull harder at a bundle of paper that has a metal staple in, the paper will tear just the same.

  • @markgg1

    Great point made.

but im afraid, not everyone is in the same boat as you.

  • Hi

Many people are commenting and saying that this Stapleless Stapler can't really do more than 5 pages

That is true but you have to remember that tons of metal gets turned into staples every year

The only problem with staples is that they can't be recycled becasue they are tiny. They end up in dumps and landfills, never to be picked up again

In other words, Metal is being wasted becasue people need to put a few pieces of paper together. So even though it may be 4-5 pages. Its still worth it

  • @molvi1988 Lol, no.

  • did it really make that big a hole?

  • detectamet also manufacture a "jumbo" plastic paperclip which is manufactured from recycled metal detectable plastic.. it is very tough, robust and capable of holding approx 80+ sheets.. you can also add a split ring attachment to the paperclip for keys etc..

  • right... so wht happend if i have a bunch of paper let say 100 pages report?

  • @D123451 if you have that many pages, put it in a binder. Even a normal stapler can't do 100 pages.

  • @CallsignRaven1 ok than wht about 20???

ps this is only good if u have under 10 pages, but if just a few pages why not use paperclip??? they're reuseable too

its just a consideration.... may be u need to make the paper fold in a different way so even large numbers of paper can be put together so a larger normal version can be made??? i'm not arguing like...

  • I'm considering buying one as a teacher who doesn't really need to staple much of anything that's more than 2 pages.. right now the only times I need it is when students ask me for one when they want to turn in homework that they did on two pieces of notebook paper. Do you guys think it would be worth it for me?

  • @JRskatr absolutely!

  • @ayeroxor I actually ordered one shortly after seeing this, I'm so glad I did! It works wonders! :):)

  • @JRskatr I'm surprised you really need to think about this. This uses no STAPLES meaning you don't have to buy the staples anymore. No more saying "AH SH*T F*CK MY LIFE!! NO STAPLES LEFT!!".

  • @ieabunane

but not strong. it will come apart too easily.

  • @felixthemaster1 That doesn't really matter much. He/she is a teacher and only need this stapler to keep his students paper together. He won't travel through the desert and live all kinds of adventure with them. So this product is perfect for him/her.

  • How well does this hold on to the paper? how much pressure is needed for it to tear apart?

  • it works very well... it weaves it and it just works well, you can staple it twice to make it even more secure
