Doom is a genius. He doesn't take a lot of samples from different places but he just flips and loops them in so many ways that they sound different when they are thrown together with other effects. Reminds me of Prince Paul back in the 90s, where he would take samples from all sorts of obscure recordings and tracks that are far from hip hop records, and make them work with effects to make a some classic tracks. The main sample/piano track is Is It a Crime by Sade, if you were wondering though.
