I was at this show!!! Awesome! And, no, Nikka Costa is HER not a band. Her dad was famous producer Don Costa...worked with Sinatra.

I'm a true soul sista soldier who feels that Amy for good or bad, represents what is is to be a sensitive, tired, beleagued woman who believs in art, beauty, ugliness, and love & the regeneration that comes with death.. Even though her current public persona is less than appealing at this time, I hardly find her fake. If anything she too honest, & therin lies her problem for this world. To profess she is fake demonstrates a limited and ignorant perspective of music and those who live for it.

Nikka's voice is awesome. I love the MySpace posts from 01. That band was so funky. I hope that her present band will attain that level of funkiness. I not sure if any of the same players are on board with this line-up... PS Somebody please save Amy Winehoues...... Peace
