I have one of these GPS's and when i add new adresses to the route, it just calculates or i should say chosses the adress to go to according to which adress i put. It doesnt calculate the closest first or vice verser, what ever i put it and when is how it calculates it. How can i actually do this, how can i make the gps automatically calculate the distance of each adress and adjust its self according to that?
My Garmin 2460LMT not only froze on my first use, it also gave me wrong direction. After check with the Tech dept, reset the unit, still gave me wrong direction. I believe I got a lemon. Return this unit to the store.
@fishycomics Not True my friend. I have an excellent 7min video using the voice commands while driving. And my car is very noisy. I cant post the link so just click my name for my channel
I couldn't help but notice I saw roan and Merrimon ave... you wouldn't happen to live in Asheville, NC would you? I lived there for about 12 years before I joined the military and am stationed in Washington State now. About to head out to Japan for 2 years.
Anyway Thank you for showing me this. I just washed my 260W and I'm torn between this model and the 3790 to replace it :/ I really like the look for the 3790 and it's screen but are the features on the 2460 worth the lower resolution?

On the newer models, when you add a via point, it automatically opens trip planner, but apparently not on the 24x0 series.

@blueoceans 19 - You can use Where To? > Trip Planner. It may automatically pick up new via points there. I'm not sure; you'll just have to try it.

There isn't one. Unfortunately there is no 2450LT.

thank you, less bluetooth what ie equiel to this? great demo. but voice command is useless in cars taht are noisy..

Slick voice commands. I like that feature on ipod touch too. 27 miles to a Starbucks? That must be the furthest anyone has to go. ;-)
