Tata needs to upgrade safaries body and wheel clearance just compare with toyota surf hilux the best off roaders or uaz patriot. if you compare body length and the wheel clearance with japenies and russian cars you will get it.

Create a new segment: micro-SUV for the city dwellers. It will beat all the small(santro/indica/M800) cars on the city roads.
If only Mahindra made one smaller Bolero version the size of santro/indica/zen & 1.4liter engine and similar fuel efficiency it would sell like hot cakes in cities. We already have Scorpio with 3 seating rows, give us something smaller for city traffic. Besides indian families have just 4-5 people nowadays.
