I'll be honest, Liz - I got a little teary-eyed watching this video & thinking about all my own adventures in NY. Those were some wonderful times for sure. Truly an unforgettable experience. Can't wait for the next one. :)

Sam flaked out and didn't go. Really broke my heart, because he was the number one person I wanted to meet. But, probably going to LA soon to hang with him and PBS.

Oh, Liz... you make me want to reach across the screen and just hug you! This has been a life altering trip. A lot of new friendships were formed, and old friends were solidified. I'm so glad we were able to take this journey together. Had it happened another way, where we traveled separately, and stayed at different places, I think it wouldn't have as much impact on me as it did.
You are AWESOME, Liz. Your friendship means a lot to me, and I miss you! :-)

I have not heard much about it yet. I would love to see the next BIG one in New Orleans personally. I know some younger people felt stiffened in NY because of their age and I would like to make sure that doesn't happen again. Honestly, I'd volunteer to organize it in Dallas if that is where people wanted to go.
Right now though, unfortunately I think most people are broke after NY. It was CRAZY pricey.

I know! I have really been talking it up. I could help out some with organization, but to me it would be a great fit while bringing revenue and attention to a city that needs it. Also off season it is cheaps. (beads!)

I'm sad too. I never got to see any sites either. The whole thing was too short. I was soooooooooo tired by the time the gathering actually happened it wasn't as exciting as the night at the bar. You are wonderful and I am so happy to have met you!

I had no idea you were even there until I saw you in a video when I returned home. Although I surprised you would even know who I am in the wig. lol
I was sick that day, showed up late and missed a ton. I've also been sick since. I didn't know you were not supposed to drink the water. My stomach is still sick and I'm coughing so much. I have heard the same from several people. Hope you get well soon! :)

No, actually I haven't. I saw one video of you without your black bar, but it went by so fast I didn't see them. The pictures I've seen had black bars proudly over your eyes, LOL. I have not heard much about it yet. I would love to see the next BIG one in New Orleans personally. I know some younger people felt stiffened in NY because of their age and I would like to make sure that doesn't happen again. Honestly, I'd volunteer to organize it in Dallas if that is where people wanted to go.
Right now though, unfortunately I think most people are broke after NY. It was CRAZY pricey.
But looking foreword to meeting you someday, wherever it is :)

I am a native New Yorker but everytime I ride the D train to Manhattan (the part between Brooklyn and Manhattan is above the ground through the Manhattan Bridge) the sight ALWAYS gets me.
