@qazygvwsxtfcedr @mbstylo actually the yellowish screen is caused by the adhesive used in the iphone 4/4s which apple said will be gone by time. They used different adhesive for the iphone 4/4s because they laminated the display to the cover glass.

The upgrade isn't worth it unless facetime, gaming and camera/video is a priority. The display on the 3GS is no slouch, the speed is no slouch, everyday use between the 2 phones are almost identical. Did I mention that my 3GS beats most 4G Androids in terms of speed? Personal experience. No lie

Hmm, yes Ill admit retina display is good when it comes to density and detail, but 2 problems.

1. The iPhone 4 appears to have some fucked up greenish tint on it

2. The iPhone diagonal viewing support is a terrible idea, since if your in public everyone can get a viewing of what you are doing, and only a total idiot would try to use their iphone at that angle. So iPhone 3gs wins in privacy? :3

@TheAppleHunter have u tried changing the brightness ? puta complete white wall paper on it and then try to notice a difference, but still if its just a bit yellowish, just ignore it. as far as u see any dead pixels or dead spots on the lcd. ifs its a lot yellowish take it back and get another one. but i think i would be fine.

@ergisi6068 What you don't understand is that iPhone 1G-3GS and iPod 1G-4G use the same "Twisted Nematic" display which can affect of the display color if you view it from extreme angles. While iPhone 4 uses In Plane Switching or IPS display which has a very wide viewing angle without losing contrast and color accuracy. So 1G and 3GS display have no difference in viewing angles, they're BAD. This is real. This video even helped me to learn what Retina display is.
