@ 0:35---------BUSTED!!!!!! This is such a great story, not really about CHRISTMAS, more about correct behavior and affecting the world by your actions. A good lesson for all of uos on any day of the year. Go out right now and tell someone you love them.
@missalice0306 thank you so much for putting this up. It's my family tradition to watch this on Christmas eve and everything thing was conspiring against watching it this year (even with DVD copies!) My family is separated now so to find this on YouTube, even just to watch it alone, was a real joy.
Thank you so much for posting this! It is the best adaptation of this story that exists! Thank you for making my Christmas merry! God bless us, every one!
I found a unintended moral fact in this movie..... Mr scrooge ONLY turned good AFTER he seen he would die.... so hes acting generious for SELFISH reasons and not because hes a changed man. Hes being generious so he doesnt die..... great moral lesson....... I know its a movie and to just take the other moral lesson but its funny how christmas lessons are backwards like rudolph song, he was picked on until santa asked him for help, so the lesson is u are bullied unless u know someone famous....
@Deadganon Well death is unavoidable. Scrooge knows that hes going to die anyway. The point was that he saw how meaningless his death was, and how no one living or dead had shed a tear for him. he was also struck hard by the death of tiny tim, and even before he saw his own grave he wondered if there was any way to avoid tiny tims death. as for the rudolph thing, yes, santa and the other reindeer are a bunch of shallow dicks in that story.
Miss Alice, Thankyou so much for your efforts in uploading this true masterpiece of film!!! You have made it possible for a wonderful start to my families holiday season, and we are very gratefull. So from our house to yours a very Merry Christmas!!!
With due respect to all versions of this Dickens classic, this version is by far my favorite and for many reasons. Could not comment on every segment, otherwise I would have done so. With that said, thank you for posting this video. The whole year 'round, "Merry Christmas!"
@0Sceadugengan0 I agree this is the best version however it seems that the Patrick Stewart version seems to have taken main viewing on TV at Christmas now, however I will be getting the George C scott version.
The part with Tiny Tim running out and hugging Scrooge always makes me tear up. The song is so beautiful! Best Christmas Carol Ever!

It's Ironic. Big people are usually very jolly, yet Scrooge was not.

Oscar-worthy performance by Mr. Scott. The most unique Scrooge ever portrayed.

A wonderful movie to put life into perspective and to remind us all to help each-other; maybe by helping ourselves first aye.
