The PKK is an armed Kurdish guerilla faction. They were labelled terrorists due to political wrangling by Turkey in the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks. They are not terrorists and you know it. They do not blindly attack civilians, this is counterproductive to their aspirations and motives. Turkey uses the PKK as an excuse to undermine Kurds and prevent their access to democratic rights held by ethnic Turks. They closed down the DTP for alleged links to the PKK for this exact reason.
